Being a family-oriented person myself, does your family (i.e. partner, wife, children) influence your music at all, or have given suggestions that have made you think about a different direction or sound that you might not have thought about before?

I'll give you a clue, 'Sir' has two expensive, fast and furious, pet projects with smooth body work that are never too far from his talented hands . . .

I like to see him enjoy himself - good luck to him !!! I think he is a multi talented genuis whose sub-conscious is more often than not creating our future delights of every dimension that is Jamiroquai.

A question popped up in my mind yesterday when listening to some collectibles. How was the relationship of the bandmembers with the releases. I mean did they receive by mail from Sony every promo, album, single, remix released?
And what about the white labels and bootlegs...do they look for them on ebay too? hehe
And more...is there a bandmember that collects jmq stuff or stuff from other artists?
I'm not very good with the questions generation but I'd really like to know it, it would be nice to see if somebody inside of the band is going insane hunting like we do

Derrick was coming, and they would have needed a whole lot of extra work to arrange both drum parts to sound right

Has Jay ever worked on a film as a gaffer?
What does the band think about Radiohead's recent decision to eliminate the record co and sell their cd online for any amount the buyer wished so pay? Will Jamiroquai be doing any thing similar?
I've seen a pic of Jay with a dolphin, and would like to know his thoughts on the dolphin slaughter in Japan. Will he be speaking out about it at his next gig there? |
