I just came home and although I'm very tired just a quick word.
As Tiago said, the concert was ok, certaintly not one of the best, but we enjoyed ourselves and could have a nice chat (thanks to Tiago) with Paul.
I asked him for the new album, it will probably be released around spring 2009, the have already around 20 songs but are still doing more. They have sent 4 songs to several record companies and the company that gives them the liberty of making the songs as they want, without them wanting to change the songs, will be the one they will sign up to. Jay could do it by himself but he needs a company for the promotional side. So nothing certain there for the moment. Pauld told us all the companies want to work with them.
There will be horns, not really old school, but, and there it that word again... it will sound fresh.
Pics of the concert will be posted by others, as Russ and I were NOT at the front, but far, far away... To many people pushing there... Strange atmosphere at the end I thougt. But althoug we weren't at the front for Jamiroquai, we had the screen right in front of us and had a blast !!! And also nice, a lot of space for me to dance !!! And Meike, a crew filmed me dancing with a green balloon in my hand !
Oh, Paul also said that they didn't have a rehearsal, which is difficult for the rest as they have to watch Jay constantly to see what he wants to do next... That just shows how good they are !!!!

aa yeah  , like they could tease us more....
haha still very exciting, can we expect a double album or so they realese everything they got online...20 songs...cant belive it.
Still i understand that they want everything produced and mixed to the fully before they realese anything. |
