http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSmk6I4RdOY

Isn't it the most messy version of space cowboy ever??

is a mix of all the different version across the history of jamiroquai, all in once!!

I can recogniza the album version, the version of 97, some parts of the 2006 and then some arrangements for the 99' one.. meeeeen, this one is crazy O_o

Totally trippy and love the dancing Razz
is it me or is that the same jacket he wore at the gig in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia?

Just Another Story nailed the whole setlist - tight version finally from the band and original brass arrangements, highlight of the night for me (and not the new boring track, not Messy Cowboy or not Small L) Laughing

Soulful
Coming back to the discussion for the weeks to come, whether
"RDLS" is a good tune or not, I think its all based on everybody's
expectations. After the Debut Gig I heard that Paul mentioned the album to be soulful.
Since the Jazz Cafe Gig ("back to the old days !"), latest since the Ahaus Gig where a few lucky ones could listen to raw material after the show, crystalballs where high in demand.
RDLS needs to grow on you. It does not have the immediate kick as most of us might be used to from past releases. It certainly does not sound like "old days", besides some slight ressemblance of one or the other known tune. Again, its all based on expectation, time passed since Dynamite, hype and wishful thinking. I for one will not be dissappointed by the "latest offering" from a band and its various influences, that has surprised me over and over again during the past 17 !! years. Let's all wait until october
Very Happy

p.s. I have another footage from RDLS @ Debut. Will upload tomorrow.

big thanks to you George & great to meet you Very Happy

i have named the new song - Rock The Kas-bah Wink

massive thanks to people for putting up links on here & especially to Brent for ripping Very Happy

i really hope they do more new tracks in the upcoming tour but as someone said in a previous post Jay's hands are tied by Mercury. This probably means nothing else will be showcased until around the album release. Also the new track was not played in the Hyde Park gig yesterday which means it doesn't look likely for the rest. Sad

I also remember chatting to Mr Turner afterwards and he said RDLS was one of those tunes that was written in about 5 minutes & i said 'REALLY!, NOOOOOO - NEVER!!' Laughing

so i guess we are looking at a number 1 again Laughing

I am getting used to it though and the middle part sounds like the snooker titles on bbc2!

Very Happy AAAA-HAAAA....I KNEW IT, 'Goodbye To My Dancer', I JUST KNEW IT, we got ANOTHER New Song title (that appears to have been 'skipped' during the DEBUT Gig) OR am I completely losing it Very Happy ?!? I had mentioned, back in the DEBUT thread, that I noticed a weird song title inbetween 'Rock Dust Light Star' & 'Love Foolosophy' on the paper DEBUT setlist. So I slightly return to my initial point of discussion, 'Goodbye To My Dancer', another new song title OR am I completely wrong? Cheers!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
