Jay is still wearing the micropacer 1984's! |
I noticed and thought the same thing. He started wearing those back in the 2nd half of '06.
How badly do you just want to look at his ENTIRE shoe collection? _________________ "...200 miles per hour and still movin'..." |

There's a bootleg cover hiding somewhere in there for sure!
Just got around to watching House's youtube vids from the gig (thanks man!).
The band is sounding really good hey? Hopefully Jay takes care of his voice and keeps it sounding this good for the whole tour! _________________

I'm very happy to report that this is their best sound since 1999. The energy coming out from that stage is amazing, I feel like I'm watching some kind of revival from them. Not only the brass section, but also his voice, as Andrew noted, has improved a lot, he's not like...screaming like he used to, he's actually singing. Let's hope the album reflects that aswell. I'm very happy, I am. |

Today after the breakfast I was sitting in the lobby, and Paul came to me to ask if I liked the gig, and where could I stand during the concert.
I mentioned, that the new bassline in Little L is brillant (I hope you agree with me:P). He said, that they played the whole song with the new bassline in the warm-up gig (as we know it from YouTube), but Jay said that they should play the first part of the with the original bassline, otherwise the crowd would miss the orignal soundig.
BTW I think he was surprised, that I noticed it. Maybe he thought I'm only
JamiroFan2000 (and the Jamily): If you want me to I can upload the original mpg files on the weekend. I'm on holiday now, so it would be difficult to upload 4GB to megaupload...In that case maybe you can make better quality rips from the songs. _________________ "If it doesn’t sound good with just a keyboard and a voice or a guitar and a voice, drop it.” /Jay Kay/ |

I agree with the sound of the band - looks like they are warming up & maybe peaking at the mo? Hope he keeps his voice till the end!

Agreed in every word.
We see no struggle for him to let his voice out anymore. I think some specialist is watching over his voice or maybe he dis stop the cigar? _________________ At the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper... |
