Please rate the new song "SMILE". 
(I wasn't sure where to put this poll... does "smile" belong to the RDLS era? I guess so.. even if it is not on the album, it was written during the RDLS writing progress... so I'll leave it here!)

I think that this poll will confirm that almost no one doesn't like this song.
Moreover, I think this "internet free release" was made to measure the popularity of the band, since CD sells are not revelant anymore about popularity.
I mean artist popularity is not measured anymore with CD sales, but numbers of downloads on the intrnet, that's why it's important to not upload this on youtube or the .mp3 file itself elsewhere, it would false the statistics.

 That is true, and based on the soundcloud upload, 'Smile' is nearly up to +9000 downloads, pretty good . Cheers!

The top one. This one sounds like a nice summer song...the album to me had a tone of sadness, and this record has a much happier tone |

Most of RDLS songs are about nostalgia, getting old(er), remorse, bad situations, it's pretty dark, and lacks of "fun" indeed.
This one was written by someone in love, as Alright Little L, Love fool, or Blow your mind.

But really, some of the best albums are sad and dark.
I think we just need a new smile. And it is summer (where I live)!
But more than the love in the song, is the overwhelming love for it by the fans!
So much better than when I joined the forum!
Stacks of songs? Really, could be a new album if they want.
This one didn't seem to fit in the RDLS perhaps.
I'm ready for a happy groove album! |
