November: The Month for BIG NEW MUSIC!!!!
Hello,
Just thought I would drop a new post highlighting some of the high profile big releases coming out in the month of November. Here are the most notables:
NOVEMBER 1ST:
Kings of Leon - "A-Ha Shake Heartbreak" (UK/Japan release)
"The sophmore effort from the American band that was dubbed "The Southern Strokes" by the foreign press. "A-ha" is not your daddy's southern swagger rock, the Kings stretch themselves into sounds, forays into reggae, slide rock and other genres of music."
Manic Street Preachers - "Lifeblood" (UK/Japan release)
"The Manics, one of the most important and consistant British bands in the world today release their most important album to date. On "Lifeblood", the Manics take on the Bush and his distorted foreign policy, burying him musically deeper than Richard Nixon."
A Perfect Circle - "eMotive" (US and worldwide release)
"Maynard James Keenan's (Lead singer of Metal Demi-Gods band "Tool") side project continues to unfurl it's dark metal wings into a 3rd incarnation. "Emotive" is purely a political picket this time around, but with satisfying songs and a stirring covers of "Imagine" by John Lennon & "What's Goin' On" by Marvin Gaye."
NOVEMBER 14TH:
Eminem - "Encore" (US and worldwide release)
"Eminem is back, or should I say his alter-ego and big hellraiser Slim Shady. Shady is back from a dormant state to shove more anti-pop culture sticks of rhyming dynamite. The songs "Just Lose It" (A song jabbing at Michael Jackson, MC Hammer, Madonna & Pee Wee Herman) & "Mosh" (A song that embodies his hatred for Bush) are any indication on how volatile "Encore" will be to your ears, PREORDER NOW!!!"
NOVEMBER 23RD:
Nirvana - "With the Lights Out" Boxset
"The missing chapters of one of the most important of my generation are finally told in this 3 CDs & 1 DVD boxset. Here is what it will feature: Features the hits, live performances, previously unreleased rarities and b-sides
- Over 50 unreleased recordings including Kurt Cobain's demos
- Hours of unheard music and unseen footage
- Features a 60 page booklet. DVD with first edition only
- 3-panel digipack, front cover is a metal plate
- Closed size is 26cm x 14.5cm x 2.5cm. Open size is 81cm x 14.5cm
There you go, if I see anymore worthwhile releases coming soon, I'll let you all know ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
