orlan or ed - do you recall jay making any comments about LAI? like if he or the guys got to see them play and thought they did well, etc.

i know ed said LAI mentioned that they were fans of jamiroquai. i'm just wondering if there was any acknowledgment of LAI by jamiroquai?

thanks for the pictures orlan. they're lovely and i'm happy you had a wonderful time..i guess we will read more later!

I noticed you hadn't 2001 and had both High Times and YGMS. I also wish our set list was like that. I wanted so much to hear High Times!!

Jay never talked about Los Amigos Invisibles...
but Los Amigos Invisibles talked about Jamiroquai so many times...
it's so sad 'cos LAI were too excited...

It is a shame that Jay did not take the time to mention LAI. Considering that they were in Caracas and LAI are so popular over there, it seems a bit rude if you ask me. If Julio and the guys took the time to acknowledge the act following their performance, the least Jay could have done was acknowledge them back. It seems like Jay is a bit too self involved...

On a related note, prior to the start of the Latin American tour, I had emailed Sola asking him to keep his ears open for LAI because they are such a great band. He was kind enough to reply and let me know that he was "quite impressed with the Invisible Friends." So at least he took the time to hear their performance, even if Jay did not...
