updates from the band members on myspace.com
Jamiroquai hit MySpace
Friday 12 May 2006, 16:08 (BST)
A number of Jamiroquai's bandmembers have recently setup sites on community networking site MySpace.com. Check out the pages for Derrick McKenzie, Matt Johnson and Rob Harris.
Derrick McKenzie has been doing some work recently with an artist called Sophie Delila and also a French singer where he's recorded some drum tracks for her upcoming album. Stay tuned onto his MySpace page for updates and music samples.
Matt Johnson reveals on his page that he's currently working on an album with Rob (Harris) and Paul (Turner) from the Jamiroquai. He also promises to keep us informed on the upcoming tour's progress via his blog on the site.
Here's the URL's to their different pages at MySpace where you'll find lots of music to listen to that they've written/recorded or are currently working on - highly recommended...

Rob Updated Blog
I know they'll work it out - The fact that they are struggling a bit gives me some satisfaction. It means they are pouring everything into these songs and won't accept creating anything less that what they know they are capable of and anything less than what we deserve to hear. I have a feeling we'll hear the struggle and the passion on the next album with the new songs. Keeping the faith

Tough Few days
Its 1.32am,we're still here in the studio. It's been like this for the last 2 weeks really.I leave my house at 9.30am and get home around 4-5am.Anyone who says this job is easy should.........
Working on recording a song is sometimes like being on an archaeological dig.You have to uncover a little bit at a time or else the whole thing will be lost forever. Its been a few days of that.lol Not that we're digging up a dinosaur musically speaking .....Everyone's in the next room jumping up and down with excitement cos "WE'RE BACK IN THE GAME"
Back slapping all round. I love music so much when we make a breakthrough.
Oh well Back to work _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com |
