bwhahahahaha..that's sad that i was that off and i hold a university degree...funny. anyway, back to work.

It's very tempting to say that ONLY an American could have made a geographical mistake like that. Except that I remember this conversation, with a girl WORKING IN A TRAVEL AGENCY, from nearly four years ago when I was planning my first visit to BA...

Me: 'Hi, I'm just wanting to get an idea of prices for a return ticket from Bristol or Heathrow to Buenos Aires...'

Girl: 'Buenos Aires... in Spain?'

Me [wondering if this girl, who WORKS IN A TRAVEL AGENCY, has actually just said that]: 'No... no, it's Buenos Aires in Argentina.'

Girl: 'OK, just one minute please...' [starts ruffling through several big thick books with 'INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CODES' written on the spines for each continent]

Me (after a couple of minutes): 'Um, is it just the three-letter airport code you're looking for? Because I know what it is...'

[Girl's supervisor walks in. She's the branch manager of this travel agency.]

Girl to supervisor: 'Have you got the book of airport codes for Buenos Aires?'

Supervisor: 'Buenos Aires in Brazil?'

Me: 'No, it's in Argentina.'

Supervisor: 'Oh, yes of course... Argentina...' [looks like she's concentrating very hard for a few seconds] 'That's in... SOUTH America, isn't it?'

All of which explains why I don't book any of my flights through the shitty little travel agency in my village!

Wow... Jamirotalk's dead tonight... wonder why... Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Camera - check.

Change of clothes - check.

Tickets (coach and festival) - check.

Mate's flat key - check.

Looks like I'm hot to trot! I have absolutely no idea how I'm going to get from the gig back to Greenwich alive on Sunday night (the Tube stops running early, obviously). But looking on the Tube map I realised Bank and Bond Street are both on the Central line, which is useful for tomorrow night...

Adventure time everyone! See you all tomorrow (though most of you won't read this now til after the event...)!

Funny. Not usual situations like that.

This is my last message on this topic before THE weekend.

I'm so glad to see Jamiroquai in England, and meet a lot of the Jamily people. That's gonna be great.
I'll have a special think for people who can't be with us.

Bye
