Maybe I saw too many concertvideos and read to manny reviews in the past and so my expectation was soooooo high.
I missed the high glorified magic between the Band and the audience and the interpretation of some old-school songs sounds horrible in my ears. What have they done with Love Foolosophy
For me it seems the boys are tired from touring ,wind up the setlist like: o.k,let´s do our job and go home.
I´m a fan since EOPE and so I´m not willing to accept this as the best they can do.Therefore I take the chance to go to Colmar to let me undeceive. _________________ I´m breaking out,I´m flying higher than a pig in space |

ok I wouldnt say horrible, but it's logical that they would sound different because almost all the musicians are not the same from that days!

it must be really exhasuting to tour all around the world, and let's face it, they're not in their 20's anymore.. so maybe that's a bit true

well I'm not a fan since eope (I was a little kid then lol), but it is one of my fav albums so.. anyway I also kinda think they're not in their best moment, but that's just my/your opinion
glad you're gonna give them another chance , I still think they're great a band, and that they sound reaaaally well on stage!

Sing is like a sport : you must be in very good condition to do the show.
Often we say that footballers are on the top when they have 27-28 years old.
I think it's the same with Jay. He's 36 years old. 4 years yet and he's 40.
I don't say he's too old, but I understand that he could be tired quicker than before. |
