For those people who were at Lovebox last summer:
Bomb found in Bethnal Green
Tuesday, 15 May 2007
Over 50 people around Roman Road in east London were evacuated after builders discovered a Second World War bomb.
The residential area remained cordoned off today causing traffic chaos in Bethnal Green and to bus routes around Victoria Park and Roman Road.
Londoners were today advised to avoid the area after police enforced a 200-metre exclusion zone around the site.
The 500lb bomb was uncovered on a building site off Palmers Road last night.
The cordon remained in place until mid-morning while Army bomb disposal experts made the device safe.
One Roman Road resident said: "There was chaos last night when they found it, and when you first hear of a bomb in this area you naturally think terrorist. But to be honest it's surprising they don't find more World War 11 bombs, the areas was after all carpetting during the war."
A police spokesman said 50 residents were evacuated from Palmer Road with the majority spending the night with friends and family. Accommodation was provided for the remaining few.
The police advised motorists that Roman Road was closed.

It's not exactly the best thing to do a big festival near a WW2 bomb Noise, vibrations...
