Guess they just put the songs that are most known to the wide public, not the Jami fans.. and these have to be from AFO and Dynamite... I mean in Russia some people still have NO IDEA who or what Jamiroquai are (they definitely can't pronounce the word! LOL ) And the GH album with Stillness in Time and Light Years, which they have NEVER heard, on it just wouldn't make sence to them.

ps. I think they put "new" next to the Runaway and "unreleased" next to the Radio because "Runaway" is kind of already 'released' Laughing

Runaway (new track)
Radio (unreleased track)
so Radio is unrelased not new?

They put Runaway as new, because when the GH will be released, the Runaway single will be already on the stores (as it is planned to be released the 30th of October) and will be so the "new single"

So Runaway won't be anymore an unreleased track. That's why they only qualify Radio as unreleased

Very Happy 19 tracks
Smile 4 songs from EOPE
Smile No 'You Give Me Something'
Confused Order of tracks...maybe would have been cool to mix it up
Sad Only 1 from ROTSC? And I bet it's the radio edit...

I can't understand why everyone gets so upset about the tracklist. So what Stillness In Time is not on it? if I wanna listen to it, I just put my ROTSC LP Wink
It would be different if we had a B-sides/rare tracks compilation, but as it's a Greatest Hits album, who gives a f***? Laughing

If anyone truly cares and lives in Manchester UK, the UK City Music Convention is being held October 29 - 31, and Richard Griffiths (former Chairman of BMG MUSIC) will be interviewing Ged Doherty (current Chairman and CEO of SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT) on the 29th.

Go and ask them for yourself...LOL

Seriously, if anyone is interested in this convention (more stuff happens there) and will happen to be in Manchester that weekend, let me know and I'll get you details.

Agreed.

I'm gonna get HT:TS2-6 only for the new tracks... Other than that... Nah... Nothing really rare on the record worthy murdering for. Rolling Eyes

i think there are several opinions and we repeat it all again and again..to sum up

1. "i think the greatest hits album should include the high quality songs to represent jamiroquai in a (for us) good way"

2. " i don´t care about the tracklist...i just want the new tracks"

3. " we all expected it because these are the songs sony want to reach a wide range of people"

....

i think this opinions are all okay and we don´t have to argue with each other Very Happy

everybody has his sight of view..

Obviously you got me wrong, I adore this song! What I tried to say is why should we care if it (or any other song) is not on GH if we all have a complete collection of Jamiroquai albums? I'm buying GH for Runaway and Radio, the other songs are for people who don't have the albums, aren't they?

Of course one can like or dislike the tracklist, but people seem to be getting really upset, but it's not a big deal Smile

I'm sorry... but High Times, Emergency On Planet Earth, Corner Of The Earth are not among the most known singles from Jamiroquai (in comparison with Virtual Insanity, Too Toung To Die, Space Cowboy, Canned Heat... and co). Nothing come to justify such a selection... In my opinion, for example... Supersonic is more known than Corner Of The Earth.

Abour Light Years, it seems that this song is not considered as a single...
