Can anyone tell me if this track is an offcut from the Synkronized or the Funk Odyssey album please?

I think I can help answer your inquiry GrooveRubberBaby...such a cool screenname! Anyhoo, "Snooze You Lose" was a unreleased track that was included on a UK Only Enhanced Promo CD was sent out to the first 10,000 UK fans that registered with the new Official Jamiroquai site (http://www.jamiroquai.co.uk). The tracklisting of the promo was:
1. Black Capricorn Day (White Nights Remix) ( 7:58 )
2. Snooze You Lose ( 3:55 )
3. Black Capricorn Day ( Video )
The CD isn't hard-to-find, but might have to pay a pretty penny if you want a copy, I recommend Ebay for that. Now if it's ONLY the songs your looking for, try some popular music sharing programs to locate them, like WinMX (http://www.winmx.com), Kazaa (http://www.kazaa.com) or many others. Are there two different versions of this song? Cause the one I have is 3:42, but some listings say is 3:55. Am I missing something? |

If I remember correctly you have the 'edit' version of Snooze You Lose, I believe it was on a promo, which one it was escapes me. The other version, the 3:55, was the one on the registered promo release that was put out to fans whom registered at the new Jami Official Site. Hope that info helps Dye! Cheers!

 ...indeed, I think the only difference between the two versions is the extra 30 seconds or so of an extension of the last chorus...so your not missing much upon my last recollection of these two versions of SYL. Cheers!

Well the version I have ends abruptly, is weird the way it ends.
There are also 2 versions of Getinfunky. |

Don't worry, one is slighty edited, if you have the full version (the one that's on youtube), then you're not missing much. |

I just gotta say that I've been a fan in the US from way back when and I got on a forum when this promo came out and a random fan in the UK asked me for my address and sent me a copy out of the blue! What a saint and I'll never forget them |
