B LIVE MEET-UP
okay, one week to go. in seven days time exactly they will already be on stage!
who's going and who wants to meet up? the mouse and bear will be arriving saturday morning and will be leaving monday evening. so how fancies to meet some crazy german jamiroquai-fan (<- mouse) and me?
send me a private message and i'll give you my mobile number (international text messages cost the same as nationals) and we can arrange a meeting point. i'm just not really keen on posting my mobile number on a public forum _________________ Dear Auntie Em. OK, ok, now we can plan (I'm a bit excited )
Right, I was originally going to go on my own, but since the kind people at Travelodge offered me a family room for £26, plus me having the Mondeo I thought I might as well make use of the space, and so my mum and sister will come down as well. We'll then split up and they'll go on a 'day out' in London and I'll obviously go to Clapham Common.
Now then, we're going to make our way nice & early, probably leave the absolute gem of the North West that is Runcorn at about 6am, so according to my satnav, the ETA (I'm gettin carried away) will be 09:57 (thats keeping to the posted speed limit on the M-way ). So with allowances for this & that, and London traffic, we'll probably be in the region of Clapham Common at about 10:30.
In short, my questions are:
1)What time would Mouse & Bear (and others) be up for a meet?
2)What time should we actually go to Clapham Common?
I'm glad that I'm gonna be stayin overnight, coz I'm not gonna be takin this night lightly at all!
VI, I hope you can make it
Remember, with me having a car, I can give people lifts and such if needs be. PM me about this and I'll be glad to help. (Nothing unreasonable like 'somewhere a 100 miles away' > London tho please) Remember, I have satnav, so I can't get lost! _________________ By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II - Now legally Licenced to navigate the Public Highways again.
All Funked Up... try saying that properly after a good night out

So, I guess there's no point asking for a lift home then?!
Seriously though, I will try to arrive at Clapham Common at around 9.30/10.00...I want to be there nice and early. I will have to leave soon after the end of the festival so I can get home at a reasonable time, but I'll be around for the whole day. It would be great to meet you guys!
You'll hopefully be able to spot me as I'll be wearing a white top with "Jamiroquai" printed on the front and "Saffy 7" printed on the back.
Well, I'll keep checking back here for updates...

P.S funkin' love, "dynamite" album! the boys have done it again....can't get enough of track 12: "time won't wait"!!! "....time won't wait for you..."
i will write my review on the album very soon!!! although i must say, "dynamite" definitely exceeds the work that was on AFO in terms of less electronic funk and more horns!! no instrumental song again!*sniff* *sniff* _________________ My heart is a pure sun and the sky is black, and I can feel cold steel when I turn my back, it stings like needles, with a jagged tongue, you know this scream reminds me, of when I was so young |

I received a short message from CosmicMouse and -Bear one hour ago.
They said: "We're in the 1st row!!!"
Proof:
I am sure they'll enjoy it!

I did. They'll return Monday late night.
Meike has plenty of photos. I am sure, she will be back on Jamirotalk on Tuesday to share them with you. |
