Welcome to jamirotalk Maxx!! 2grouphug
Enjoy your stay here!! Wink
Nice pictures. Sola and his instruments in blue and the colourfull Jay - brilliant!! good

Thanks Cesar for the wonderfull review!!! clapping clapping clapping
Reviews cannot be too long for my taste!! The details are the things that makes it so interesting and special! Thanks for that!

By the way, I remember them having sound problems in a lot of european concerts. I think Jay is a kind of perfectionist and when the sound is not perfect he is pissed. Nothing to worry about, I think... Wink

Hey man, you really are a Deep Deep Jamiroquai fan

Nice review, I hope what happened on stage means nothing, I (we) don´t want any more troubles among the band

Yes, guilty as charged! I'm a MASSIVE Jmq fan! Very Happy

I also hope that the "incident" (if there was such a thing) meant nothing!!

Thanks for the compliment, Mouse! You're very kind. Like you, I'm always eager to know every single detail. I was worried that I might bore people to death, but I'm glad it wasn't the case.

As for the technical problems, I agree with you: Jay seems to be a perfectionist and doesn't like it when there are problems with the sound. Who can blame him? I wouldn't like it either, if I were him.

YES, YOU DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy

Would you believe it if I told you that I thought of you as soon as Jay announced the song? I just thought: "oh, my God, Marianita said we (Brazilians) might be lucky and hear it live"...

Your positive thinking was decisive!!!! Thanks for that!!!!!! Very Happy

I forgot to mention that O GLOBO, Rio's leading newspaper printed a very positive review of the show today. I'll be posting a translation of it this week. One thing he reporter mentioned matches the feeling I had about Jay: he said that Jay looked more shy than usual. Indeed. He wasn't his usual self, I think. Maybe he was upset about the sound problems.

It was still a great show anyway.

Hey people, thanks for the lovely compliments on my photos. I tried to do the best of me and my camera, hehehe. The one with the brasilian flag was a lucky one, as the person who was holding it was not my friend, just another Jamirofan. I showed him the photo, he gave me his email and we would exchange photos and stuff. Maybe we turn into Jamirofriends, hehehe.

Anyway, it is so good to be in a place where everybody is in the same vibe. Such a good energy. Nobody pushing, although the place was really crowded. Everybody wanting to be able to remember every minute there after. I felt like I was among many brothers and sisters sharing that wonderful moment.

Well, I still can't help singing some lyrics while I was walking to work, or alone at home, or with my girlfriend, whom I turned into a new Jamirofan, hehehe.

I know I really wanted that both shows here were held on the contrary. First in Rio then in São Paulo, so I could go to both of them, hehehe.

Best Regards

Hey Cesar, such a good review. I felt like I could write it too, cause you felt like me almost all the time. I think you are the other brasilian who posts to Jamline also, isn't it?

I just didn't noticed those things you said about JK complaining about the sound and all. I saw him playing some air bass as you said but, I think he was not angry with anything, he was just feeling the bass vibe. But if you think there was really some problem I didn't pay attention to it.

This is so weird to talk with a fellow brasilian friend in english, hehehe.

Hey, Rafael Rapouso,
Thanks for the comments.
YES, it's strange talking to a fellow Brazilian in English, but rules must be obbeyed. Wink

I'm checking your photo album as I write this. Great photos! Congratulations.

I managed to see the things I mentioned because I was standing close to the stage and Jay turned my way (right side of Claro Hall) when he did the mimic to the person waiting by the wings. I saw the expressions on his face. I just wanted to share that with you all. I hope it meant nothing. It probably meant nothing.

Take care,
Cesar

It's the Latin blood! It boils, as you know it! Wink
I hope the Venezuelans enjoy the show as much as the Brazilians and the Argentines.

Yes it is in the blood, and from our latin ancestors. But the mixed native south american indians, and all the africans that were brought here helped to make this genuine unique blood we have.

Anyway, I think everyones blood boils in a Jamiroquai concert. Even those that go without knowing who they are, like in festivals.

And I also hope the venezuelans get a esplendid show.
