Alright Netherlands, I'm coming too!

So, can anyone tell me what train station I need to get off at?! LOL! There are *many* choices for Rotterdam and I've never been there so I'm a bit lost!

Has anyone from other parts of Europe booked accomodation yet? I'll only be saying the Friday night, but if I could stay where other Jamily are staying that would be very cool Smile

Two Jamiroquai concerts in less than 2 weeks - oh happy days!!!

somersault

Dunno Where you are comming from...but...you can start at rotterdam central trainstation.
And take the subway(metro) to "zuidplein" from there it is a 5 min walk.

I'm coming from Geneva, so I guess "*Rotterdam CS" is the right choice. Thanks freaky Smile

Can any locals tell me if Westlandseweg is not too far from Ahoy? There is a Hotel Ibis there that has rooms for 59€ per night (not really cheap, but I'm only staying one night...)

I think I found it on the map but I'm still a bit lost:

Hi,
Sale for this concert starts this saturday at 10am at www.ticketmaster.nl
You have to buy two tickets to be able to see Jamiroquai; the general ticket for NSJ friday (65 euro) and a 'plusticket' for Jamiroquai (15 euro)

Ohmygod, you are right, ezzi... you have to buy an extra ticket for jamiroquai... 2biting

Quote:
Day Tickets (€ 65,-) and 3-day Tickets (€ 155,-)
A day ticket or 3-day ticket will give you admission to Ahoy' Rotterdam. You can visit all the concerts you like. However, supplementary tickets are required for all concerts in the Amazon and the concert of Jamiroquai in the Nile (see below under 'supplementary tickets').

Supplementary Tickets (€ 15,-)
In addition to the obligatory day ticket or 3-day ticket supplementary tickets are needed to attend the concerts in the Amazon and the concert of Jamiroquai in the Nile. Supplementary tickets are valid only for the so-called 'plusconcert' indicated on the ticket (the number of seats is limited). Supplementary tickets alone do not give admission to the festival!

Thanks for the hint!

Did read it correctly...seats?

And thanks ezzi!

Just found another scamm...grrr

The booking fee for the plus card! 11 euro's

So that means 65 for the ticket, 15 for the plus card and 11 for bookingfee. That makes 91 euro's
It makes me doubt...if i should go?

Shocked .... irked ... that's annoying, really! bigeye

...and I was also wondering about the "seats"... who can sit during a jamiroquai gig? If there will be seats in the front row, I will stand on them! tongue

I just checked the site www.ticketservice.nl (you can click the uk flag) and if you look for jamiroquai. You can also order the plus ticket there.

Just bought the tickets, and nope..the ticketfee is not that high.

And for the seats, think that is a standerd line because there is no seat number on the ticket. believe it even says standing ticket.

Hi Lily,

you're very lost ... the street you marked is the Smeetslandseweg and not the Westlandseweg which is in Vlaardingen, a city in the neighbourhood of Rotterdam. The place where you marked Ahoy is correct though. I'll e-mail you a screendump of where the westlandseweg really is. Maybe there's a direct bus transfer but I doubt it.

JAMIROTALKERS: If any of you need any info on streets / hotellocations for the North Sea Jazz than don't hesitate to e-mail me. e-mailing is quicker then through the forum cause I'm not every day on it (to busy with work/the other hobby)

ps: I got my tickets ... and now I need to find a way to make time go by faster
Cool

Bought my ticket thursday through the North Sea Jazz site. Payed 91 euros but i don't care ! For all of you coming to R'dam, and who wants to meet with all the rest of us, send me your mobile number in a PM, I won't be using the net a lot from the 28th of june that's why i already ask ! I hope they will play in Belgium before the 14th of July as i will be there the 28th of June already...

Barcelona soon, but, no holidays for me in may ! Very sad...
