Sometimes ago, I had the same way of thinking
Last year, I downloaded the album some weeks before the release (as lots of people here) and it was not a problem to me, I was saying myself "Anyway I will buy it later so they don't lose anything"...

But it is simply a question of respect towards the guys who are working on songs. I can't imagine they had not a bit of frustration when they learnt that the sample was online
(It can be innocent but it is quite the same situation if you prepare a surprise party to your best friend, and somebody tells your friend what will happen to him later, Imagine how you would react....)

That's why I prefered not to listen to the track 2 days ago and I think I will have a good surprise when I will buy the single....

Cheers

dang...drama!

well, from what i heard it sounds like a mix between 'everybody's going to the moon' and 'time won't wait'.

that's just my ears though - we'll wait to hear the real, whole, original track... Wink

Hmm ive deleted the clip from my computer!

Why?

Beacuse i shouldnt have it and when time comes i will have it.
Its pretty respect less to the guys to listen to the track, not paying anything for it and it was also not meant to be so.

Well actualy i dont agree how the song DID sound Laughing .

I thought it was a mix of "Do it like we used to do" and "Time wont wait".

Its hard to rank songs and all respect to jamiroquai who worked on TWW and DILWUTD but i like runaway more Wink.

It has such groove and a flow AND suprises in the song.

Wow i really hope there is a breakdown in the real song but maybbee its not and maybee its better that way.

Jamiroquai are musicans.
We are Fans AND WE SHALL NOT SPREAD PIRACY!

Ive telled all my friend how good the song was but i has not shared the song with them.

So therefore i hype them up! Razz

there was a clip of black devil car demo, wich was shown by JAY in a tv program, i think you will understand that theres a big difference between a leaked track and a sample give it by the band...

about reviewing the song
remember this is a remix and we don't know about the real sound of the studio version (appart from jays melody)
it's so probable that the keys are pretty the same (imo) but the songs was meant to be "smooth disco funk" so i guess the bass is a bit "housed" for this remix, maybe it haves a part with this kind of funky bass but, the one we have heard may be even don't be paul at all (how many jami remixes exist with the real bass there? avery very few!)

well, fra (the only fan who listened to the actual song) said it sounds pretty like that but...musical memory can be not so good in this cases...i don't know...but just i don't think it's fair to judge the quality of the song by this remix........so at the end maybe it don't nothing to do with "the vibe" we hear now (dilwutd, tww etc...)

Yes i understand the difference, couse i´m intelligent......but i´m not sure if that clip was the one shown by jay.....becouse when it was uploaded on that website, they didnt put the name of the track, and none information....anyway......i really dont care......im not so saint to attack piracy, and not so stupid to defend it.....

Totally agree! Smile

Last year I downloaded Dynamite a few weeks before the release...and I thought it was fine. However when I bought the CD there was no surprise, and some of the excitement was lost.

I remember listening to and seeing the video to Little L for the first time and the track screamed brilliance because it was "fresh".

Don't get me wrong... I really, really (Laughing !) want to hear "Runaway", but even if this clip is just a remix, I don't want the element of surprise to be quashed
