Jamiroquai recording in Abbey Road
Hello Jamirotalkers,
News taken from funkin.com
The Abbey Road session is for Channel 4's (UK) new music show "Live from Abbey Road", the band will be "recording" so no audience, just an empty studio. The show is described as follows:
"LIVE FROM ABBEY ROAD - An all-star cast features in Live from Abbey Road. Celebrating the renowned studio’s 75th anniversary, the series will feature performances from a range of new and established artists. The series will debut on More4, ahead of its Channel 4 transmission."
The show (of which there are 12 episodes) is expected to air in November and according to a news item at Gigwise.com, "The show will have no studio audience or presenter with acts bringing their own engineers and given one day to record the sessions." Each show "will feature three acts playing three songs each."
Nice A+ quality

Hello,
I would think it would be today, Brother Russky, I mean, it's a "weekday" after all and most obvious TV recordings would take place during the weekend rather than weekend . I just hope we see JK in a new hat, the constant flux that is in the creation of JK's hats MUST be maintained, and it's time for a new hat! I hope they record some more Jamiroldies, maybe "Hooked Up" this time through, of course, that's my hope...ohhh and thanks for the "Jazz Cafe" download contribution, I meant to thank you for that, very very appreciated ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

i hope it's not that burgler bill bobble hat,
i think we can safely say, that's not setting a trend.
although saying that, look around for people sporting those hats and for sale on merchandise _________________

Jamiroquai's set that they recorded for new UK television show Live From Abbey Road will be broadcast on the following channels and dates - More 4 on Friday 19 January at 23:00, and on Channel 4 on Monday 22 January.
The set was recorded on 27 October 2006, two days after the Jazz Cafe concert and the band performed the following tracks for the show - Canned Heat, Love Foolosophy, Travelling Without Moving and Runaway.
Photos and more information from the recording can be found at the Live From Abbey Road website. A little more information about the show was printed in Music Week at the end of last year...
Mixes can run over 80 tracks and... "we're able to take as long as they take. The audio always takes priority. The cameras are there to capture that performance."
The company behind the show, which is recorded in high-definition, has signed a deal for global distribution so we can hope to see the show on channels elsewhere in the world over the coming months.
