Thanks Russ!
I really do wish I'd been able to make it, but it'll be good to see it on TV

Hi everyone, here's some info (incl. download link) for the gig...
In the early hours of Saturday morning, Channel 4 (UK) broadcast The Album Chart Show. Only Runaway was broadcast from the six-track set that Jamiroquai recorded on 20 November. The video of Runaway is currently available on the downloads page of this site.
On 10 december at 00:25, a 30 minute "Album Chart Show Special" will broadcast on Channel 4 (UK) which will contain more tracks from the recording. Later the same morning (at 01:40), 30 minutes from the 2005 Clapham Common B-Live concert will be broadcast.
To download the performance of Runaway go to...

ahahahahahah!!
well...what can I say!
it would be nice to have the full show...and even if I can stand Jarvis Cocker and can't understand how my boyfriend get's any good feeling through his music it would be a nice gift x him...and I love to make him happy..even if it has to do with that person!!
So, me I'd like it!!
( it's not my fault after all )

why oh why oh why..Jamiroquai?????
bad, bad choice.
The programme opened with Jamiroquai (dunno if this was the original running order) - opening with "cosmic girl".... why this song to showcase Jamiroquai?????
I love Jamiroquai to pieces, and hate slating...but...this song...why???? From the past 14 years...why this one??? why not tytd, wygl, something with a political statement, if Jamiroquai were gonna go back to the past....or why not something that showcased the whole band and showed Jay's full vocal capacity? TWM! (best song of the year from the band in mpo).
edited to post this....
I expected an iconic performance...and now over to DD's songs of 2006 discussion...I have 2 _________________ All Hail the King |

The Album Chart Show Special
Channel 4 broadcasted a 'Jamiroquai' special on sat 10th Dec including tracks performed exclusively at the Koko club in London for The Album Chart Show.(as listed on funkin.com)
Tracks were, Love foolosophy, an amazing performance of Use The force,
Runaway(repeated) and Deeper Underground. The show introduced a short history of the band and featured brief interviews from the fans with one very brief one from our very own - 'Mr Dance'
High Times was not included for obvious reasons and the camera captured quite alot of CosmicBear and not just the top of his head!
I have split the show into two parts because of adverts in between,
Part 1 - Love foolosophy & Use The Force:

Part 2 - Runaway & Deeper underground:
