Sorry guys, this might be old news but haven't had time to check it out fully but I'm sure some of you can do the research...

It's not old - this is the first I'm seeing of it!

It says Jamiroquai are playing Islington Academy on November 16th. It's a drawing to win 5 pairs of tickets and a replica hat!

Dope...ENTER people that can go!

Hopefully those that couldn't make the Jazz Cafe can go to this.

Thanks Yvie Heart

*edit - just checked the website and they aren't listed there..hmmmm Confused

The only thing I found on this is something that I think is a little confusing anyway - It's from another band's website...This was posted on the night of the Jazz Cafe gig and refers to the 26th (re: this Thursday), which would have been the night they did Abbey Road right?

http://www.censoredonline.com/

London Bar Academy Gig Cancelled.
"Jamiroquai and the BBC have decided to go filming at the London Islington Bar Academy this Thursday night therefore the Censored's scheduled performance at the "Jog On" club night is now being rescheduled for November or January" . . . Apologies to those planning on spending the evening in our company this Thursday, i'm sure you all understanding we are not responsible for this cancellation and it is due to reasons beyond our control.

same here.
i think entering competition like this don't make othe rjamily members less chance but more. the prizes of tickets are normally double, so this means that if any of the jamily wins, will probably invite other jamily member (as happened before), also some of us may not have the way of going even if we win (time, money...) and hopefully the tickets can be transfered...

i dont want to sound - out of order but usually these tickets are given to people in London or abroad. It's extremely rare people who live in the U.K ever win as London is a seperate country on it's own!(or would like to be)
If for example someone wins in Italy they would offer there ticket to someone else in Italy and so on.
But if i ever do get lucky i would share with someone in the jamily.
Im just trying to promote fair play so hopefully true fans can all experience these events. Smile

Here's some more information from Funkin.com...

After the news last week of a concert being held at the Islington Academy in London on 16 November, Capital Radio (London) are running a competition to win 50 pairs of tickets to the gig.

Don't forget to also enter the competition at the USC website.

Thanks to: Funkin.com

GOOD LUCK to everyone - hope some of you are able to win tickets Smile Smile Smile

I thought there was going to be another small gig in the pipeline. I've entered the competitions, If I was lucky enough to win, I don't think I can make it on the night.

Firstly my partner is at college and I would need to get a babysitter, also I'm going into London this week to see Bugz in the Attic, why does it all happen at once!! So its gonna be tricky.

I really hope you guys out there get the chance this time (mrsP, Claire, Darth)

GOOD LUCK 5crossfingers
