Music in the little supermarket in our town I just must tell you a little story about the music in our little supermarket (for all Germans: ein EDEKA aktiv markt ) It's funny. When you go shopping there you never know which kind of music they are playing in the backround. Most of the time they play "hardcore german pop" - you know what I mean?? That's when the full-time sales-ladies won the fight concerning the music But sometimes they play really funky music like Earth Wind & Fire or Stevie Wonder.. That's when the temporary personnel (like students) won the fight. And today in my lunch break they played "Little L" It was the first time I heard Jamiroquai in this supermarket and I even stayed a little longer just to hear it until the end. I really had to hold myself back not to clap at the "clapping parts" Sigh...what a nice lunch break - but now it's over

:) I love it when that happens - I find that Jamiroquai usually pop up in Supermarkets here - Safeways is a popular one! It's nice when you're feeling pissed off - then a song comes on and it gives you a little smile. Last song i heard was "supersonic" in Wilikinsons. I was with the girls and I went "Listen, it's Jamiroquai" - my eldest has a "i don't give a shit about anything" attitude right now...and just looked at me and said "so?".
