I don't think it's an official Sony BMG release... It seems to be a bootleg, just like "Kaleidoscope" or "House Mixes Vol. 1"...

Old topic but.....
Sorry to drag this old topic up again. Wink

I recently received a copy of this LP on vinyl. Can anyone confirm that the sound quality is not fantastic. I'm guessing it's due to there being too much musical info squeezed into those tight grooves ??
My copy looks perfect but does play with some crackles and pops, is this common to most copies of this release ??

Also were the inner sleeves in this just plain white paper sleeves or something else ??

Thanks if anyone can help. Smile

No no no........
You have missunderstood completley.There has been no rasist intent meant here.

Jap is an abbreviation for Japan.

Here are some more examples

Ger = Germany
Fra = France
Eng = England
Swe = Sweden
Den = Denmark

In the English speaking world it's common place to take the first three letters of a country's name when an abbreviation is being made.
Here Jap was being used to indicate the release's origin.I'm in Sweden and we do the same thing here.

Hi've recently bought that vinyl, in a fair record here, in Portugal. This was released around 1 or 2 years ago, as a bootleg.

This is not an official release from Sony. Though it's a splendid item.

Japan, Japanese ----> Jpn
&... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jap

thanks tony.lee Smile
i know when Europeans like you use "Jap", they mean only abbreviation.
but my friend&my dictionary&alot of japanese sites says its very bad meaning when Americans use it.
jgrizz is American & adult(abit old age)from profile here, so this person must have known this meaning. maybe. Rolling Eyes

I don´t think Jgrizz is using that word like an offense. Mostly when he´s talking about a disc.

this is racist thinking, actually.

come on, that adjective was refered to an item, how can it be intended in a racist way? Confused

My original question
In all this lunacy my original question has been kind of over looked.

My copy of this looks great but does not have the best sound quality. I was just wondering if this is a problem common to all copies. The pressing is quite low and it lacks the high and lows that earlier Jamiroquai vinyl albums have had.

Thanks for any help. Wink

anyway,
im going to study Chinese for my dear Chinese friend.
now i sincerely think i have to study our real history more and more.
because its so impolite never to understand their delicate feelings.
i learned this thing from here. really thanks all. Smile 2wave
