He even told us some time before about this album, do you remember?

. With the well deserved break from touring and recording,I've tried to explore new musical horizons around my own cultural back ground.
I'm off to Nigeria to research some drumming traditions that are rapidly dying out.
Poems of the Yorubas that express a perspective on music, religion, philosophy etc.
I've finished recording an album that explores these ideas.
The album has promted me to delve a little deeper into my cultural heritage, and deeper into THE GROOVE.

It is different from his Tank Tribe project. I just had a listen to some tracks and it is percussions and voice only (from what I heard so far). It is indeed going back to roots, I like it very much. It's grooving! Definitely something for percussionists and rhythm lovers!
I also like the language (nigerian, I guess), although I don't get a single word... _________________ ~ I look up to Heaven, every star I see is mine.

It is finally here
Great find indeed! Sola has been working on this for some time and yes it is different from the Tank Tribe project. Many things are lined up for you guys to enjoy.
He worked VERY hard on this release to make sure it represented him and his African roots, so I really hope you guys dig it and be sure to let Sola know - he'll appreciate the feedback.
Look for an interview with him about the project soon _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com |

Or maybe it's isiXhosa? I don't really know, but I really want to hear that album. Here's the AMG entry, but they seem to have not reviewed it yet:

I can't wait to hear the new album. Sounds promising. |
