Didn't you listen to Soul education on the Synchronized album. He has his education in Music and doesn't need an academics life. He comes across very well spoken in interviews so i guess he's been educated in life as he grew up. Sometimes people who get good degrees aren't very successfull and don't do anything with their lives. I think he made the right decision dropping out of school. _________________ Maybe i'm still a lovefool |

that's right. there's a lot of successful people who didn't studied for secondary school like football players, musicians...they just didn't give up to their dreams and studied/practice for what they wanted to be! _________________ jamiroquai music is like the air...you need it to live

Yep but there's always some basic imformation that they "don't have" and little kids at school do... first comes school and then the rest (my opinion only) _________________ GIGGLES! |

ok, here some very old stories about the man that you may not know:
he had a twin brother, who died right after being born. He said in an interview when being asked bout drugs that "he had to live his life for 2".
and
he lost the virginity at the age of 14 with a Thai prostitute called, if I remember well, Toy. She was 16 and got pregnant. Jay´s step father (not real step father, but his mother current boyfriend) paid for an abortion (he was spending some months there at this man´s hotel, remember reading in the interview that the guy said sex was all around and very easy, they had even a pic of young jay there).
all of this was in the very old and dead jamiroquai-articles archieve web. Just saying what was posted there, dont kill the messenger. |

I thought that Jay was going to study to be a lawyer, I thought i heard him say that in an interview during the TWM era. ....i think
Personally I don't like that rag story about his stepfather. It breaks my heart to read that. And Jay probably wont like it if we discuss that hard time in his life. Either if it was true or not . (show respect) _________________

Hey i agree. Nobody wants to think of the past it'll only eat a person up thinking of the mistakes they made. Be positive and think and dream of all the possibility that awaits. Hey we're not starving so it's all good, right! _________________ Maybe i'm still a lovefool |
