sounds like he's talking about 2 different people...or several probably...
these lyrics must be about his twin who passed on early ind life. 
or it could be for a pet bird.

No, it's about a friend of his that passed away. DVO (eww) is completely irrelevant to him now. |

Definitely about somebody who died.

Either a a friend, or an idol. Maybe he was a kid and admired the person.

But seems that the death wasn't celebrated
"don't think they'll cry for you tomorrow, they never cried for you that day"
And maybe now people really realize how much he/she's missed, but not the day he/she died. Or so goes the lyrics. It's somebody special. |
