| 4 or 5 strings doesn't change anything in the sound or the style, 5 strings allow just to access lowers sounds. You can do a lot of stuff with a 4 string, and you can just do even more with a 5 string ... |

Paul Turner uses both 4 and 5 string bass guitars! The 4 string is a Fender 66's JazzBass (or sometimes a 77's jazzbass) and the 5 string is a Musicman Stringray.  |
