Jamiroquai + Amp Fiddler = unreleased tune???
Hello,
Today Ive found something mysteriours on Wikipedia.
Im a fan of Amp Fiddler and thoguht why shouldnt I take a look what Wikipedia says about him?

Quote:
During his career, Amp Fiddler has worked with George Clinton, Moodymann, Jamiroquai, Was (Not Was), the Brand New Heavies, Fishbone and nu soul artist Maxwell. Working with his brother, Bubz (bass guitarist, producer and songwriter), he released the album Mr Fiddler in 1990 on Elektra [1]. Amp Fiddler is credited with introducing hip-hop producer J Dilla to the Akai sampling drum machine.

the direct linkt

Does anybody know what Amp Fiddler had done with Jamiroquai?
Maybe an unreleased tune that I (or maybe we all) have never heard before???

Great discover, let's hope it's true! Very Happy
Amp Fiddler is a great artist, he's featured in some collaborations even with Incognito!

Maybe in the early days... Strange, really... Maybe he was some sort of a support artist for them or somethin'?...

On the "Space Cowboy" from the North Sea Jazz Festival 1995 Disc 2 of "Funky Paradise", Amp was featured as guest keyboardist. I don't know if it was just that song or the whole set, but hope that helps.
Keep Searching

Tobi was ill and he played keyboard???

Jay was ill and he sang???

Joseph has written "Blow Your Mind"??? (or maybe blow your wind^^)

Joseph is the maker of the Acid-Jazz label???

Soo much questions...

OK we know now that he was the keyboardplayer on the NSJ´95 thanks to Adidas2076!

Fiddler probably made just a guest appearance at the concert.

He couldn't have sung any Jamiroquai song. I think Jay's record label woudn't even let Jay think of such a thing after Montreux 1995.

No. The chords and tablatures and other crap to Blow Your Mind was written solely by Smith. Not just that, but part 2 of BYM was also a jam session.

Producer =/= record label exec. Producers are a different sort of thing. They are responsible for DAT tape mastering, mixing, and various other jobs related to the studio. And no, AJ Records was found by Eddie Pillar and Gilles Peterson, a radio disc jockey of BBC radio 1.

Jay wanted to let Wallis sing to Bobby Hebb's "Sunny". That sure pissed the label off... Too good Wallis refused, otherwise Jay'd have to deal with a pissed off $ony-BMG...

Something similar also happened at the Club Citta 10. X 1993 performance when Jay wanted to let Kevin, the band's manager, sing BYM. Kevin didn't know the lyrics to BYM, so Jay pushed Kevin off-stage, I think. Hilarious, really.

I know, but a BYM reprise with Kevin on the vocals would've been either awfully awesome, or awfully embarassing.
