JAMIROQUAI AT ITS WORST!
So a recent video by a very great, known and celebrated band has inspired me to this thread. The song for the video is really nice, but what the guys did for the video just SUCKS. So my question to you: What are the worst things about Jamiroquai? The worst videos, the worst songs, albums, live shows, remixes, b-sides, bandmembers, dreams, facts about Jamiroquai, whatever. And what are the things Jamiroquai really disappointed you with?
I'll start:
Worst video (in my opinion of course): Love Foolosophy. Don't know, I just think it has no real story in it. I watch it and think "nice, but what for?"
Worst song (also in my opinion): Radio. Definitely!
And my worst dream I ever had about Jamiroquai: Jay dies, either of a car accident or a heart attack (!!!). Wasn't really funny when I woke up and had no clue if he's still alive actually... |

Worst Video: definitely "Don't Give Hate a Chance"
Worst Song: "World That he Wants"
my worst dream about Jamiroquai: Zender didn't join the band in 1993! haha kidding... i've not had worst jamiroquai dreams... the late jamiroquai is not that bad at all!

Hmmm i don't particularly HATE anything about Jamiroquai - actually I tell a lie, I hate the fact that the singles nearly always have remixes instead of B-sides or live tracks! That really annoys me when other bands have new tracks on every single release!
Least fave song - Destitue Illusions
Least fave video - (Don't) Give Hate A Chance

Hmm..I think I have more funny and best moments, then worse...
The obvious:
Worst song for me is probably - Stop, Don't Panic or Black Crow
Worst video for me is probably ummm.....ummmmm - Deeper Underground or DGHAC
The not-so obvious
Worst use of an animal in a song - Opening lines of Love Blind. I understand what Jay was getting at, but it was still just odd.
Worst crowd at a JMQ concert - Woodstock 1999
Worst fan moment that happened at a JMQ concert - (I could say poop throwing, but I already have Woodstock on here). Had to be in 2001 in New York when this guy convinced a fan that he had tickets on the floor. The fan had balcony tickets. So the fan switched envelopes with him thinking they were floor tickets and there was nothing in the envelope. Sad...it was a sold out concert. I felt so bad for that fan, but it was his stupidity really....
Worst weather waiting in line for a JMQ concert - NYC 2001...thunderstorm was horrible. That is me holding an umbrella in my avatar that day.
Worst attitude by a band member - Nick Fyffe. He had a lot of ego that didn't match his talent.
Worst soundtrack JMQ has ever been on - Deeper Underground. That song is surrounded by a bunch of horrible songs.
Worst rumor to be spread - That a member of the band had a serious illness. Those things you really don't joke about.
I think that's about it

hmmm worst video...maybe king for a day?all looks cool but i don't see the point in it
worst song- probably virtual insanity,not for the music or anything but that it had most to do with jay's big success and as far as i know-jamiroquai is a band,so they should progress together.
worst dream-the gigi in the sky plane crashing and everyone dies,plus it crashes directly on my head and i'm NOT joking

Oh, I'm sorry Dyego, I totally forgot that thread - I think I even posted something in it, I think it was Loveblind - but I was thinking and thinking if theres already a worst thread, but I didn't come up with that...
What is actually so bad about the GHAC video for you? I think it's nice and WAY better than the video I was referring to. |

What did Nick do ?
And yes Jamiroquai is a band, but in every band there's always a frontman. And what do you mean by progressing together ? Jay is not the only one receiving all the credits in the production, and I'm pretty sure that the other bandmembers are really happy to see that their lives aren't exposed in every
magazines... |

^He was just one of those that acted like girl fans were after him and on more than one occasion he's said some disrespectful things to fans. And it was really uncalled for at all times. I don't expect the guys to be best friends with fans...but being disrespectful is uncalled for.
