A few more bits
Finally got the US singles collection that I wanted to buy in Birmingham about 10yrs ago but couldn't afford it, also got the EOPE vinyl classics CD, looks really cool, just like a record on the one side.
Got the High Times promo (UK single) and Titan AE promo too.

nice additions em!
the eope vinyl classics is a good one to have - would i be right in saying you got that for £2?? as i was watching it and then was surprised to see it go for that
There is a Uk version and an Australian one on eil.com too - i haven't actually opened it though yet so might get another one to tinker with if it arrises once more.
I also just managed to get the 'High Times' single promo too - very nice
As for the wooden singles box - there has been a few of them lately which is unusual and for bargains too. I think there is one on ebay now and i don't know about Amazon.co.uk as that is where i got mine knocked down to £12 at the time and recently they were - £70!!
Just to let people know too - there are a few BCD samplers with 'Snooze you loose' up at the moment . _________________

Nice collection, I am starting to collect too by purchasing the singles from eBay or just downloading them. I want to get the vinyl for Canned Heat/Supersonic (1999 Remixes). |

Ebay ! |
..i never thought about it.. really..
..but today i got a new Japanese gem:
..simply wonderful.. |
It is trully a great enseble of songs, trully great... footsteps in the dark and free are my favorites, but I must add that this was trully the compilation that brought me into Herbie Hancock and all that vector of amazing musicians...
Plus, I was around 16 when I first checked this album, my heard was begining to fill itself with the good music. |

Dearest Jamily,
today I got some spare time, so I decided, to show you a part of my collection!
First of all, official promos and official CDs, the last two picks show different bootlegs (Some official, some burned!)
Here´s a selection of my hottest vinyls, sorry that I didn´t mention all the known promos and official ones, would take me too long, but be sure, I´m a Vinyl Junkie!
TYTD 7" Italian Jukebox Vinyl
Side A: Celin Dion - The Power of Love (4.42)
Side B: Jamiroquai - TYTD (6.04)
Note: Surprisingly, it is the album version that is featured on this 7".
Space Cowboy 7" Italian Jukebox Vinyl
Side A: Jamiroquai - Space Cowboy (3.36)
Side B: Ini Kamoze - Here comes the Hotstepper
Note: They couldn´t have picked out a better song for the B-Side!
Simply Vinyl SVLP267 Jamiroquai Emergency On Planet Earth Ultra rare 180 Gram LP Test Pressing. 2 LP set!
Acetate´s
Acetate records are records made of metal and very few copies are made (less than a dozen) to be used either for masters to press other records or given away to some very famous DJs (like Pete Tong). These are almost impossible to come by!
12" Canned Heat "Masters at Work" Acetate
Side A: Canned Heat - MAW Main Mix (8.39)
Side B: Canned Heat - MAW Dub (6.20)
Note:"Dub Mix" is also known as the "Acapella Mix" on some bootleg releases. This is the only known official release of that mix!
12" You Give Me Something Acetate
Side A: You Give Me Something - Full Intention Club Mix (7.11)
Side B: You Give Me Something - Full Intention Dub Mix (7.22)
Note: The songs on this acetates are the same as on Promo vinyl XPR 2772, but here, pressed on metal!
12" You Give Me Something Acetate
Side A: You Give Me Something - Blacksmith R&B 12" Rub (5.0
Side B: You Give Me Something (3.22)
Note: The songs on this acetates are the same as on Promo vinyl XPR 3501, but here, pressed on metal!
12" The Exchange Mastering Studios - Supersonic Acetate (Single Sided!)
Side A: Supersonic - Pete Hellers Love Mix (9.35)
Here you can find a very cool link to the mastering process!
12" Whitfield Recording Studios - Do you know where you coming from Acetate
Side A: Do You Know Where You're Coming From - Mix 1 (5.02)
Side B: Do You Know Where You're Coming From - Mix 2 (5.02)

This doesn´t make sense mates, I edited 3 times in follow, so I put the rest into another post, sorry!
But now to something completely different...
10" Ultra Rare TYTD The Hit Factory London Acetate (Single Sided!)
Side A: Too Young to Die - 7" (3.22)
Note: Ultra rare (probably a dozen copies max.) test pressing for a 7" release that never came out in the end.
Note: Don´t even try asking, to give this out of my hands! If there´ll come a reason to give my collection out of my hands, these two will belong to Jonas then! (Thanx to Francois again for this rarity, I will keep my eyes on it; proved!)
12" Even Ultra Rare TYTD The Hit Factory London Acetate
Side A: Too Young to Die - Radio Edit (3.22)
Side B: Too Young to Die (6.04)
And last but not least, and this won´t be my last, definitely not...
my personal...
...Ultra Rare...
12" Acid Jazz White Label "When you gonna learn" Promo
Side A: When You Gonna Learn - JK Mix (6.20)
When You Gonna Learn - JK Instrumental (6.20)
Side B: When You Gonna Learn - Canté Hondo Mix (5.49)
When You Gonna Learn - Original Demo (4.50)
When You Gonna Learn - Didj. Instrumental (6.2
Note: The very first Jamiroquai record ever pressed by Acid Jazz. The label talk about only 25 copies, that ever got pressed.
God knows, why it was me to snatch this gem, and in fact I paid 30 Pounds for this gem! - Unbelievebable but true, so you see, you also can find rarities out of eBay!
Thats all for now, hope you´ll enjoy the pics,
All the best to you, Dirk |
