My original song available for download...
Hey guys,
Well, you may recall that I was starting a band in my hometown this summer that would cover some Jamiroquai stuff. Anyway, I'm afraid that fell through, but I haven't been doing nothing, you know.
Go here: http://homepages.nyu.edu/~amt283/page4.html
and download an original composition of mine, entitled SOMEDAY VERY SOON. It doesn't really sound like Jamiroquai, but Jam is of course one of many influences on my music. I've written other stuff, but I haven't recorded any of it yet.
Anyway, I'd love to hear what you think! Thanks guys... |

Wow!! this song is so great!!! It's just like the beatles!!! Good for you! The piano sounds great and the chorus are synkronized!!! You've to start making funk music... maybe acid jazz... Congratulations!!! You've a great future in your hands... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Congratulations Freddie, that was an amazing song! I really hope you can grow with your band because you deserve.
And also thank you for the downloads you have in your page, there are a few I didn't have...

Thanks guys! I appreciate the feedback. I think I will be adding some more original songs in a couple of days (I've decided that I like writing music, and I'm feeling very inspired these days) so I'll keep you posted...
P.S. I'm glad SOMEBODY likes the downloads on my site |

hi Freddie!
you're the greatest, mate!!! keep it up,
you have a great timbre of voice and very oldschool
style and technique of singing reminds me mix of 60s
brian wilson and and... yes, mate, p mccartney voices!!!!
and its really great;
the track is also very cool and special! |

Not bad, buddy! I agree with HT, your voice strikes me as a 60s throwback (that's a compliment, btw). The piano's very twisty with its melodies, I tried to figure out mentally where your playing would lead but almost all of the time I guessed wrong.
Keep at it! _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Otherwise, I have to be honest, I can see a situation where...there is a possibility that you become lost in the annals of acid jazz history." -- Jason Kay |
