Or you can just have Synesthesia, just like I do, even though my Synesthesia is very, very weak... (thank God!) |

Wow I never heard of this before??.. interesting... I don't get colours I get pictures popping into my head with songs.. Always pictures and shapes for some reason no particular colours tho.. is there a name for that one?.. lol.. maybe photosynesthesia yeh?

No, it is still Synesthesia. And in comparison to you, I always have colored floating shapes appearing. Not in front of my eyes, tho, but in the back of my head. Strange, really. |

this question is intersting, because i never close my eyes to listen a song and i never feel a colour related to a song directly...let me listen some songs again and i will say you if i found colours, i dont know, but this thing is interesting

OMG what a great topic! I got this thing too, with most songs! however, sometimes color associations come from singles covers or videos.
Virtual Insanity - white (video )
Cosmic Girl - dark pink
Use the Force - dark green
Soul Education - olive drab
Stillness in Time - azure
The Kids - dark brown (sepia)
I can't go on now, cos I'm getting a mental block.. you know, when you just listen, it comes naturally, but when you force yourself to think of it, your mind goes blank. |

Interesting topic, Knjaz... But let me try with landscapes, specially in one of my favourite songs.
Manifest Destiny - A sky full of clouds, with drizzle, during a cold winter. But at the end of the song, the sun slowly appears, giving us some kind of sunny nightfall, and the grass start to bloom... |
