you are my love would be better as an instrumental...the vocals sound strange to me at some places, tho the instrumentation is real cool _________________

Vocal of you are my love are tight. It's a perfect mix between pop and funk. And it would certainly be boring as a instrumental since Jay Kay's voice gives a big push to the song
Imo every songs having vocals would be less good without them. And every instrumental are better without any vocals, like Music of the mind or Space clav |

great topic!! I love Supersonic but the reason I love it is for the instrumentals, the lyrics/vocals altho interesting are quite basic and don't do the song justice.. Yes for me Supersonic I would love to hear just as instrumental.. the mid section with the percussions are awesome!! and of course the diji is great too thanx to wallis...
In fact most of the songs featuring the yadaki would be gr8 just left as instrumentals.. but that's just me.. I love the sound and echos of the diji esp when it is played well.. It is a very difficult instrument to play I don't know how many times I have tried, (a lot) but I just can not get the tune happening!! Yet i have a friend who is a master at it!! _________________

Twenty Zero One would be a cool instrumental song...
Also Blow Your Mind tho the vocals are really good, but an instrumental version would sound very good as well..
Also would like to hear an instrumental version of Canned Heat _________________

Why not? I was just listening to it and thought it would sound great as an instrumental. |
