Hello Jamiroquai Fans,
this is your chance to contribute to future interviews with bandmembers.
We are trying to keep in touch with some of the boys on a more or less regular basis - depends on their time of course. We skip the long and time-consuming interviews for a while and try to get answers more often, and then just to single questions. Hopefully this way we'll manage to keep in touch with them more regularily. This might be interesting especially during the writing-progress of the new album.
Please submit all questions you have in your mind, we will collect everything here in this topic and choose then - probably together with the band - which questions will be answered.

 Good job Meike for getting this off the ground and finding a way to connect fans and the band. Hopefully, this will give a little spark to the time we wait and although they are busy, I hope the band will be an active part of this feature.

-"Soul Education" could've been a great follow-up to "Canned Heat". Why was it cancelled, and replaced with "Supersonic"?
-Will the band ever do a side-long instrumental a la Miles Davis' "In a Silent Way"?
-Will the new album have the old-school Jamiroquai sound (Emergency/Space Cowboy/Travelling) or will it be a typical post-Zender opus?
-I've noticed that many album songs have been cut down from their original to shorter lengths (WYGL, TYTD, IILIIDI, TWM, Alright, TZO, Talullah, SDISJ etc.), without the uncut versions surfacing. Why were the uncut versions never released, at least as B-sides to singles?
-Will the new album be a double LP release, or just a single LP?
-Is there at least one song on the album longer than 10 minutes?
-Will the covers of the new album be printed with soy ink on recycled paper? And will the CD cases be made of recycled plastic?
-Will the new album have few very long tracks, or many short ones?
-Will there be segues between songs?
-Which artists have influenced the sound of the upcoing album?
-Will there ever be a Jamiroquai-themed video game? (I'd love that to happen, really)
-Are you gonna walk the road Prince walked recently, and release the new album via a mag or anything alike?
-Can we have some pictures of Chillington?
-When someone says "Blue Note Records", the first musician you think of is _____.
-Do you see MTV and the material it broadcasts as a sub-par thing or something more average?
-Were either Zender, Wallis or both fired by your record label?
-What's your opinion on technology such as DRM, and the anti-competitive actions of the RIAA?
-What are the high and low points of touring?
-Would you agree if I said that most of the stuff seen as 'popular' by kids is just manufactured trash shoved down their throats?
-What's the future of music, globally?
-If George W. Bush would be found suspended over a kilometer-deep abyss on a single rope, would you have the heart/guts to cut it for the sake of the whole humanity?
-What do you think will happen with the world after all the fossil fuels are gone?
-There most certainly are unreleased tracks that have been recorded but never released or played live. Do you plan to release those tracks one day? |

Here's a few new questions...
-Have you ever considered writing, recording and releasing an instrumental album? (With J on harp, of course)
-What's the meaning of a certain song called "Snooze you Lose", featured exclusively on the "Online Odyssey" promo CD?
-What happened to the Buffalo Man mirror seen on the cover of "Synkronized"? Is it in someone's basement, or is it just a bunch of glass shards?
-Vinyl or CD?
-Will the upcoming album be a concept one?
-Will there be guest stars on the new album?
-Is the album going to be very simple in terms of production (Recording > mixing > mastering > pressing) or will it be some sort of slick-and-polished "Dynamite II"?
-Will there be touches of psychedelia in the new album?

That's a great idea Meike - and with Derrick answering the first question yesterday we see that it works
My question to all members of the band: will you also play little gigs on your next tour? Would be nice to see the band closer - even without winning a contest |

I don't really have any questions other than the obvious .. ..yes someone had to ask it..
When can we expect to hear new music from you boys?..
