Grant Green, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Prince and P-Funk.

You can see I like fusion a lot.

This is a tough question, because do I wanna base my answers off of groups or artists (it seems people are listing individual artists as much as bands) that have had one or 2 great albums? Or do I wanna base it off of their TOTAL BODY OF WORK OVER TIME? It's a tough call.

Because "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" from the Chili Peppers is maybe the best album ever made IMO. But the rest of their stuff is just "ok" to me. They've had some nice songs on other albums, but I don't care for their newer stuff.

I can think of bands like Bloc Party, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine, Sublime, Coldplay, Limp Bizkit etc. who've had BRILLIANT albums, but their total body of work? They need to do more IMO.

Maybe my problem is I like too much of everything lol. I'll grudgingly give this list-
1) Radiohead
2) Coldplay
3) Eminem
4) Incubus
5) 311

With U2, Kanye West, Ludacris, the Cure, Outkast, Michael and Janet Jackson receiving very honorable mentions.
