here in buenos aires is difficult to shoot during a gig. well, at least during indoor concerts there's plenty of security, and if they catch you with a photo camera they took the batteries or even push you to erase the memory (that's an extreme case). I can't imagine what would happen with a video camera.
during the august '99 jmq gig in the luna park stadium, I carried a voice recorder, I could record the entire show, but the quality sucks! maybe that was because I had the recorder inside a bag, under my seat (there were SEATS!!! I was in 4th row! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad ).

If u need a still stand for your DV, enable Anti-Shake and tie a rope to the bottom of the cam, if possible... step on the rope with one foot and get a little tension on it while filming, u will be surprised that the shakign goes away almost completely...

bootlegin'
dear friends,

In search of how to shove a camera inside a show I've been tempted to hide it in my pants... I am sure nobody I know will ever notice that it has been downthere....nevertheless, I would like to ask you guys for advice on what stuff should I wear in order to "blame it on my clothing"..
for example, I was thinking of waring one of those chains that are attached to wallets (so 90's) but instead of having a chain by the side, it could go ..mmm from front to back and attach it somewhere in those areas... I could pretend to be a phony punker neo-fashio e-entertainment television watcher or something around those lines... but please let me know if anyone has more ideas...
I´m attending one of the San francisco gigs, I guess security will be tight, but leave it to a mexican to find a way around it. Idea ...

Best Regards
Marco
