Autumn
I feel the subtle bite of winter's chill
Autumn has arrived and the trees go to sleep
It's the month of Samhain blessings and Halloween thrills
Longer nights and days that fleet
Deeper thoughts and slower movements
Calming serenity at it's peak
And dreaming of next years improvements
It's the time of dreams and all that they may bring
For in a few long months it'll be spring
