ROB HARRIS CONTRIBUTES TO DEEP PURPLE SOLO ALBUM
Hi everyone, I found this little snippet of news about Rob Harris yesterday...

DEEP PURPLE Keyboardist Completes Work On New Solo Album - Dec. 15, 2007

DEEP PURPLE keyboardist Don Airey will release a new solo album, "A Light in the Sky", on February 25 via Mascot Records. Contributors include Danny Bowes, Chris Childs and Harry James of THUNDER, JAMIROQUAI guitarist Ron Harris and classical violinist Lidia Baich.

According to a posting at the Mascot web site, "Airey has made his mark as an arranger and composer in the commercial field. After releasing 'K2' a couple of years ago, he is back with his own arrangements and songs."

Airey will reportedly make a guest appearance on the new MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP (MSG) album, entitled "In the Midst of Beauty".
