your favorite live tour
apart from your favorite album, which tour do you think represents Jamiroquai at its best?
personally, i choose the space cowboy tour Very Happy
i think the years 94-95 were the best for jamiroquai
the band was in great form, they had already been playing together for a couple years, and the selection of tunes was fantastic

Travelling Without Moving 1996/1997 tour.
[No doubts about it Cool]

We are very lucky to listen to FANTASTIC concerts such as the Osaka '97 one, the Phoenix Fest, McLaren Party, Finsbury Park, Royal Albert Hall '96, etc, etc, etc.

God... this tour was amazing.

it's a very very hard choose for me!
i can fast decide my least fave, wich is the AFO tour, 2001 and 2002 concerts.
you have forgot the "midnight sun tour", maybe you have included on the AFO tour, but it's completely different, both in setlists and in the style of the sound...
so i thin for me is like this Arrow

1st TROTSC/TWM
2nd EOPE/HT
3rd synk/dyn/MNS
4th AFO

I love the high times tour and i defently think that the next tour will be outstanding best and i hope for some suprises on it!

I think that Rob has to jam with the horns and then they can vs each other for real, like they did on the jazz cafe.

Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I havent seen a single jamiroquai concert in my life and that feels like a joke, if they did a concert next week in London for example and i did get a ticket tommorow i would defently go, but we all know that aint happen.

....mmm, i have to wait for christmas (+ some more blink

My favourite tour is the TWM one. About the tours I joined, I can say the gig in Brescia 2003 included in the Midnight Sun Tour of 2003 was the best experience.

Waiting for the next one...

I'm not going to choose something I've only seen on DVD or listened to on CD. So for me the best tour was EOPE. TWM is second and SYNK is third. Smile

I can't decide between SC and TWM Tour. SC tour was a concept like the album, but TWM presented the band at their top in eveything, So Both are my number 1 Very Happy

Second EOPE then SYNK, DYN, Midnight Sun Tour.

I don't want to include HT Tour. The band is tight as always and They really seem to understand each other and enjoy music together, but just a few gigs to understand any development of live music and saddly I gotta add J's voice need sometime off Sad

Voted for the ROTSC tour.

I can only judge by the bootlegs, but they really sounded as a band back then, not like JK and his supporting musicians. I mean, long jams, instrumental solos... that's what I'm looking for. Also Jay's voice in the best shape... Rolling Eyes

On the other side, they probably overdid it (like Jay said), I mean, 10-minute didgeridoo/percussion intro... too much even for a fan like myself Laughing

For me it is easily the TWM tour. The band seems to be at their peak in those days, the musicians have come a long way and they have better equipment it seems. IMO the EOPE tour isn't that great because the musicians are not as good as afew years later and, sorry to say this, but jay sings badly in some songs! the ROTSC set list was not as good as TWM, and the band seemed to lose their raw energy after TWM. Just my 5 cents

I love the "ambiance", and the songs.

travelling without moving tour was a great tour too, but less "easy taking" athmosphere.

2-RSC tour.
3-TWM tour.
4-MNS tour.
5-SNK tour.
6-HTS tour.
7-AFO tour.
8-DYN tour.
