Newbie!
Hi guys n gals! I'm a newbie here, just registered yesterday...
I'm 34, female and Swedish. What else do you need to know? 
I wasn't sure if I should write a new thread or not, but decided this thread looked good for an introduction.
Except for Jamiroquai, I listen to: Level 42, Nik Kershaw, Hue & Cry, Swing Out Sister, Danny Wilson, Curiosity Killed The Cat (old stuff), Gary Clark, Mike Lindup, Mark King, Roger Cicero, Incognito, Brand New Heavies, Stevie Wonder, Michael McDonald, Earth, Wind & Fire, Sting, Sade, Capercaillie, Clannad, Nox, Anúna, Hedningarna, Garmarna, Mari Boine Persen, Peter LeMarc, Sofia Karlsson, Povel Ramel and many others...
Some of it, is a mix of soul/jazz/funk/pop - I have a hard time with genres...
Some of these groups are more folkmusic. I also like classical music.
I read: Neil Gaiman, Diana Wynne Jones, Douglas Adams, Tolkien. Lots of different SciFi and Fantasy. I also read about psychology, languages, linguistics, history, mythology, dogs.
I watch: Science Fiction & Fantasy, comedies, movies. Some favourites are Criminal Minds, Dexter, Supernatural, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Doctor Who, Torchwood, House, Scrubs, Ugly Betty, Extras, Carnivale, The Dresden Files, Firefly, Farscape and lots of other shows. I doubt there's a scifi show I haven't watched...

Well, which three do you know of then? 
I know that I do listen to some unusual groups sometimes...
Mostly European music, I guess. |

Well its bad that i don't hear ANY Jamiro songs on the radio. My guy friend is a DJ for KISSFM in Cleveland, OH and the only songs they have are Virtual Insanity, and Canned heat. Then I asked if they had the song " Everyday" (TWM) NOOOO so i sent it to them. They are going to play it during the Slow Jams Hour!!! Jami's commin back  Oh I'm gonna make it happen dangit!!!

Hey,
I just joined a couple of weeks ago but still getting used to it. Just thought id let everyone know what sort of music and that im into.
Favourite Bands (at the mo' hehe)
Jamiroquai, Sister Sledge, Chic, Jackson 5, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Brand New Heavies, Kanye West, Sugarhill Gang, Daft Punk, Donna Summer, Kool & The Gang, Roy Ayers....sort of music like that but im not too fussy really.
Anyway just looking for some like minded people because there aint many who are into Jamiroquai where im from lol......and im single ladies got dumped by my girlfriend of 5 years *boo hoo* but aint gonna let that get me down,
