Topic with no-name (lack of imagination I guess)
Hello Jamirotalkers,
I was thinking... AFO was released on September and we already knew the title and the name of the single in January / February. And we are two months from the release of the 6th one, and all that we have are rumours ('Dynamite' and 'Black Devil Car'). So, I was thinking, I hope it won't be pushed back another month!
And no news about it in 15 days. Besides Jay being in this party, in that one... Hehehe.
I don't know why I start this topic, it is just my opinion and I want to know what you think.
Besides we know there is no news  because Jamirofan started with his comic 'limited' series once again! Hahaha!!

Hello hello! Finally a topic that is interesting enough for my lazy mind to take part of it 
I have this feeling that it won't be released during October. But, then again - artists and record companies are now more alerted and careful because they don't want the unreleased material to leak online. So they might hold the information until the very late moment.
JK doesen't want to rush things anymore. Synkronized was rushed and I recall that he once said the same thing about ROTSC too. More than three years should be enough though.
I must say - I'm losing my patience.

i have the feeling that i lost the contact with the band,if i don't have news i can't keep in touch with them!! ....i also think that isn't ordinary...what is happening??

here's a q: once the album comes out, how long will we be able to milk posts on that issue? A tour, and what else? Wait another 2-3 years for another album? Im hoping there will be posts about how Jam fans met up with other jam fans at certain tour dates and partoed or somethin.
Honestly the sooner the better. The other most anticipated album I wanted for months: The Roots "Tipping Point" is out already. It's solid, but not as good as their last album so I was a lil disappointed. I hope Jam can release something at least as solid as what they have been putting out in past years, so if it takes more time for them to accomplish that Im all for it.

1st sigles use to be out about 2 months before the album.if we don´t even know the name of it (ok, it should be balck devil car but it´s not even official), I´d say that we´ll have the album not before november.
It´s a pity becouse are millions of people that hav´nt hear in their lives about jamiroquai just becouse we have to wait more than 3 years for an album. Jay should focus on it and forget parting for a couple of months. |

The wait continues, and continues....
 Hello,
 Hehe, nice title Diego, but I would have gone with something like "Bored beyond tears: Your thoughts about the Upcoming 6th album" ! Yeah, I didn't really see my "Steps" limited comic series as a remedy to this long album release wait we have all been on, I was hoping it would all give you a nice chuckle of laughter to make you all feel better.  To the members who replied to my series, thank you so much, I'm glad I could bring a humourous twinkle to your eye ! Well, in my view, I also agree, October isn't really shaping up to be a "Album release month", at least from my view, IF it was to be, they would have started the "1st single" promotions hoopla in Asia and Europe by now. But their is still hope for a October release, they could start blitzing "Black Devil Car" promotions in early Sept. 2004, then have it released in late Sept., THEN have a either Late October or Early November release date for the new album, that seems more realistic in my eyes. But you know, we're all at a point where high hopes that we have held hard onto for the last 3 years can unjustly affect our reaction to the new album . Patience is always a virtue, I'm proud on how everyone here on JamiroTalk have behaved and handled themselves during this time. I may have not lead on in the beginning since my head is still surrounded by the first 2 albums, but I swallowed my pride and put all my faith in JK and band in churning out another great album, and put to sleep all my speculation....only for days when things newswise are slow and I'm bored to tears..hehe! Yeah, we are getting quite bored around here, so I guess the album will come... I wouldn't like to say 2005, but can you imagine?? (1993, 1994, 1996, 1999, 2001... 2005!!!!!). But we now that around the Jamiroquai Planet around us everything is possible!!!

a thought just popped into my head..i may be wrong but, maybe the band as actually pressured to make this a good solid album. i wont be suprised if the daes do get pushed back considering we havent heard anything for a while now..no updates or final news or whatever.
the delay may be caused by "lack of focus" OR the band is trying extra hard and are being careful in trying to come up with a good album.(Trying new things, tinkering with old sytles??)...Im sure they are aware of the anticipation that's been building up and more waiting (i think) adds more expectation. Maybe they're trying to keep up with that expectation. well..whatever the reason is, all we can do is hope for the best and just wait for it to come.
i agree with you guys, the 3 years better be worth the wait..HAHA.

aaaa, I really feel the buzz 
New album is coming, new members are coming to the forum, there are so many posts like never before. I've got my website prepared for new stuff and educating fellow fans.
Release date is postponning (which means the release is quite near), we'll have new single in about two months (hopefully)
