Nude Continuum
okay i have to start a thread about that guys...i mean they are just funky...!!! 
i was just seraching for the latest jamiroquai videos on youtube and accendently came across these band... derrick mc kenzie did a remix of one of their songs called " get naked" ..i somehow missed that info on myspace.

Nude Continuum have recently begun collaborating with Derrick Mckenzie, Jamiroquai's drummer. The first collaboration was on a song of Derrick's. Princess Freesia wrote and performed the vocal parts, and James Higgins produced her vocals and played guitar on the song. It is called "Je T'adore" and can be heard on Derrick's Myspace page (www.myspace.com/derrickmckenzie). Stay tuned for a release in the near future.
The second collaboration has been Derrick producing a remix of Nude Continuum's song "Get Naked". It is entitled Get Naked (Derrick Mckenzie's Lap Dance Remix). The joke behind this name, is that the entire remix was produced by Derrick on his laptop. A sample of it will soon be available on the player to the left, but in the meantime you can hear the whole remix at Derrick's myspace page - linked above.
Next up in this line of collaborations will be some more remixes either way, Derrick drumming on a few NC tracks, and James and Freesia are bound to perform on more of Derrick's tracks in the near future. Stay tuned! |

There's a song where the protagonist of the album has actually sex with a roboter, who can even speak German!!!

Hi guys been doing some more work with Nude Continuum and did another remix of the track Mistake its called the Bish Bash Remix because of the percussion at the front end of the track ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!! Hope you like the remix you can hear the originals of these on the Nude Continuum Website or on the website with the talents of Chad, James and the lovely Lija putting their wonderful talent out their for all of us to hear. I do believe the album is nearly finished now and its does sound very very good indeed!!!!!!!!!! I am still doing my thing with the production and writing with different people also.
Started writing last week in the studio with Sophie Delila again as she has now started her new album which should be fab fab fab!!!!!!!!!!! Watch out for it in the near future!!!!!!!!!!
I am totally enjoying my time off the road at the minute and really looking foraward to getting back in the studio with the guys and dong jamiroquai stuff once again and taking the whole thing up another notch!!!!!!!!
I have been practising and listening to a load of different things lately right across the board so getting influences from all avenues of music, which i really would love to express in the next Jamiroquai album for you guys!!!!!!!!! Very Excited indeed about this next album, we will take our time to get this one right on the money and make sure all the tracks are slamming one way or the other. All being well we will start writing in the next couple of months and i will keep you updated with how we are getting on so watch this space as well as all the other spaces that include the band!!!!!!!!

I really want to thank David Rowe for keeping us all together and up to date with the bands happenings over the past year and also to all the loyal supporters of the band who have taken the time to get in contact with me one way or the other by hook or by crook!!!!!! I listened to some samples on their website, and I really dig them. "People We Should Try" remind me a little of Incognito's "100 and Rising" album. It's still all very great! My favorite might be "Don't Stop the Beat", but I don't really know, it's all great stuff! Soulful! |
