 Hello again,
 Yeah, I am nearly in daily IM contact with James, and he's totally jakked about the current responses he's gotten from music fans to this pre-order .  To help him and the band out, I have been doing a little fan "street team" promotions for NC on various music forums and fansites in my spare time to help and I am hoping my efforts net him alot of new fans and interest in their music ! ... I just got to say that James & Freesia are some of the most talented and down to earth people I have ever worked with. Take it from me, the album is very special indeed!.. You'll have goosebumps from start to finish!

NUDE CONTINUUM
Comprised of James Higgins and Princess Freesia, Gold Coast product Nude Continuum are bringin an enticing cocktail of acid-jazz, electro funk and soul disco to stereo speakers everywhere.
You guys started writing music together on an old decaying piano at Murwillumbah High School. How did those early days shape Nude Continuum?
The music we wrote back then was very basic. We knew we were reaching for teh funk/soul standard of artists likd Jamiroquai and Incognito. But we had no idea how to achieve that, so it came out as very simple folky/jazz music.
You´ve been influenced by such artists as Roy Ayers, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire - how do you incorperate their sound into your own music?
i don´t think we really consciously incorporate their sound into ours. We just get inspired by it and let it excite our own creative process. if our music does sound like theirs, it has happened in a subconscious and organic way - it´s not something we´ve actively sought.
When it comes to the grooves of Nude Continuum , how do u best describe your style?
It took us some hard thinking to put words to it, but what we came up with is: raw, naked, jazzinspired, retro-electro-funk. Messages of love, positivity, freedom of thought and sexuality, social and political activism , all wrapped in fun.filled spunky funk, soul, house, acid-jazz and disco music.
As a creative zone, what does the gold Coast offer for people with an artistic bent?
The Gold Coast is young and so is full of potential. We have one of the most pleasant life styles, beautiful weather and beaches, loads of sexy people and a lot of untapped talent.
What can punters expect from the Nude Continuum live show?
Anything! Our front woman Princess Freesia surprises even the band! She´s certainly not of this earth. Aside from being a hugely talented vocalist, she cavorts and performs with a whole lot of energy. We have a full live band now, but still incorporate sequenced and synthesized elements to give it a real danceable electro edge, while maintaining a solid live funk band vibe.
