Just to add the info asked before. During the concert in Rock In Rio, Lisbon, the musicians were:

- D'Zrt
- Ivete Sangalo
- Jamiroquai
- Shakira

Just let me say... it was very hard to hear those 2 groups before Jamiroquai... but in the end... the candy was the sweetest ever! Very Happy

Laughing oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh that day!! 40 ºC under the shadow's

News I just found

Bob Dylan to headline at Rock in Rio festival in Madrid

2008

MADRID (AFP) — Music legend Bob Dylan is to perform at Madrid's Rock in Rio festival in July, completing an impressive line-up that already includes Amy Winehouse and The Police, organisers said Wednesday.

Dylan, 66, will take to the World Stage, one of three set up for the event on a 20-hectare (50-acre) site at Arganda del Rey, about 20 kilometres (15 miles) from the Spanish capital.

He is to be followed on the last day of the festival on July 6 by Scottish band Franz Ferdinand, US rocker Lenny Kravitz and singer-songwriter Chris Cornell, formerly of Soundgarden and Audioslave.

The festival will take place on June 27-28 and July 4-6.

Other confirmed acts include The Police, Alanis Morissette, Jack Johnson, Neil Young, Jamiroquai, Shakira and Winehouse, winner of five Grammy awards last month.

Rock in Rio began in Rio de Janeiro in 1985 as a largely Brazilian event. It moved to Lisbon in 2004 and 2006, and this year will take place in both Lisbon and Madrid.

The Lisbon segment of the festival is scheduled for May 30-31 and June 1, 5 and 6, and will include Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart and Joss Stone.

Let me say I'm actually kind of glad Jamiroquai are playing among such big artists, like Dylan, The Police and Neil Young. Take Shakira from that pile, and we have an amazing line up.

Good for them, I really hope this will put the band on the radar once again.

D

I do not understand how they can make Sakhira as headliners ahead of JAMIROQUAI. I am outraged. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Bad news: Jamiroquai will be playing only 1 hour 15 minutes (30 free minutes between each artist/band)
