Hi all.
After some encouragement from Sandriche, I've decided to put a recording of us covering Jamiroquai's "Everyday" with the covers-band incarnation of Nude Continuum - SOUL CONTINUUM (pretty creative name, eh?!)
This was recorded last night at our regular gig that we play with the covers act at a bar on the Gold Coast. We do about 5 JMQ covers all up, plus some songs that they have covered (Bad Girls, Upside Down), and then a whole lot of classic soul music ranging from Hall and Oates to Michael Jackson to Al Green.
Unfortunately the recording stuffed up last night, so this is one of the only ones that worked alright, but it gives you an idea of how we sound. This covers act has really funded the creation of our album, so it'll always have a warm place in our hearts, even when we disband it to focus on the originals.
Here's the file:
Everyday - Soul Continuum Live
In other news, we're waiting to get a confirmed answer, but we're looking pretty good to add two more dates to our European Tour calender, both in the Netherlands, and in early August. Will let you all know once something is confirmed.
Also, Freesia and I are considering a big change! If the tour goes well and we feel as "in our element" in Europe as we imagine we will, we're considering moving to Europe for 6-12 months to focus on Nude Continuum and start playing festivals and gigging non-stop. Its just an option at this stage, but we feel it could be a good career move. So those of you in Europe could be seeing a lot more of us come winter!!!
Hope you enjoy the track, and for those who have already successfully found the funky eggs, hope you enjoyed the original song of ours that was included in the prize pack.
Don't forget to tune in to Radio Metro today (9am-11am GMT) for our radio interview and to nab yourself a copy of our album
Love and much respect to all
James

Respect Music, the label who are releasing our album digitally, have recently begun their own weekly show: Respect Music Radio, on the Gold Coast's 105.7 Radio Metro.
This Easter Sunday (23rd March) we will be joining them for their 2 hour show from 7pm to 9pm AEST (GMT+10). For those in the UK that's 9am to 11am, and for those in Western Europe, that's 10am to 12pm.
We will be playing tracks from the album for the first time on the airwaves, and giving away 5 FREE SIGNED copies of the album to listeners (local and international listeners alike!).
If you're overseas and out of broadcast range, don't fret - the show is broadcast live to the internet, so you can tune in here.
If you do plan to tune in an listen to the show, send Nude Continuum an email in advance and we'll try to give you a shout-out over the air-waves! james@nudecontinuum.com
