CD IMPORT DISCOVERY: EOPE (Vinyl Classics) German CD!!!
buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Very Happy Looks like Sony is rereleasing some old Jami singles or something, cause I just found a weird new Jami Import for sale Very Happy! I found it on the CDUniverse website listed for sale (www.cduniverse.com), it's titled "Emergency On Planet Earth: Vinyl Classics" and is a German Import. The record notes on the site read as so: "Limited edition reissue of this classic album presented in a special package featuring a CD with a top side that resembles an original LP vinyl album, but don't let the looks deceive you...it's a fully playable CD." Wink Here's a link to the CDuniverse listing about this release also Wink:

http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=6769524&cart=200176619&style=music&Bab=E

Hmm, it's listed on "backorder", and come out on July 26th 2004, I don't know if this is a new release import I didn't know about or what. But I'll look around some more European music sites for more info. Thanks for listening and Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

P.S. There's also a listing for this import at the HMV website (LINK TO LISTING: http://www1.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=226918)

Well, I looked furthermore.

Spiegel is otherwise German newspaper. If you compare their sign and the one on cover, you'll see they're pretty much the same.

Hm, I didn't find anything useful on spiegel site.

I'll provide more info as soon as I receive it Very Happy

Glorious news!

I've received my CD today. Very fast I must say. Here are some pictures:

Isn't it just great? And look at the CD. It's all black Wink As you can see, the rest of the cover is the same (front, back)

Classy

Oh really?

A part of box set? And my suspicions were right, Spiegel had something with this. Well, they had everything.

Nevertheless, I think it was worth it. The CD is beautiful!

Hehe...nice pictures Mtey
buffaloman_R Hello yet again, buffaloman_R

Shocked WOW Shocked ! Smile Great pictures of the CD Mtey, I almost about to go out blindly buy this rariety release, but after your pictures, I don't know if I really need this after all Smile. It's not my intention to kill the "great mood" around this CD, it's just I rebought EOPE and ROTSC albums last Christmas, but they were Aussie versions of the albums! And the great thing, they were on sale for only $7 each, because they sell alot of Aussie copies of back catalogue albums at Christmas at Plan 9 Music, my fav record store. 2listen Still I am a little curious about the CD Mtey: Does this release feature any extended versions of the EOPE tracks "WYGL", "TYTD" or "IILIIDI" (Translations: WYGL=When You Gonna Learn, TYTD=Too Young To Die, & IILIIDI=If I Like It, I'll Do it) like it's vinyl release predecessor 2listen? I hope you can answer my question Mtey, again, your welcome in helping finding out about this release, Very Happy I'm so happy you loved it Very Happy! I'll keep my eyes peeled for more rereleases of Jami albums, thanks for listening and Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Well, unfortunately, all songs are completely the same as normal EOPE release. That means no extended versions. Oh, and I didn't need the translations Razz Wink

All that's different is cardboard sleeve and CD. The front and back cover of CD is completely the same as 1993 release.

Well, too bad. But, as we said before, this is re-release
