just spoke to James on the phone... they are heartbroken.. they tried everything but no chance... they are so sorry for us, because of our plans for London and all...
they are now going to the plane for the flight back... 
I will go to London anyways. What about the others?

Well, only a matter of correct work permission?
Didn't they have the possibility to go to the Australian embassy to get their problem sorted out?
This is really strange, sending people back to the antipodes only because they didn't have the correct work permission!
As I said, Australia has the same head of state as the UK, there should be a more humane manner to get such problems solved.
I guess Derrick only told you what he was told, so I don't want to difame him, but consider just what I said, this case is quite strange.

yea indeed  i guess it's frustrating they gotta go back from a long flight to London.......
if you can sms or call meike (it's not a must, just saying  ), sending them allot of cheering up hugs and much strenght

will do that, but i guess they will only read this when they are landing in shanghai or elsewhere as they are in the air right now. I'll send them loads of jamily good vibes

okay...would this work?
Nude Continuum playing in Aus but broadcast to the Mau Mau bar? We will need a laptop, projector and wireless connection (and obviously hook-up to a good soundsystem!).
Meike - are you in touch with Nudie's promoters? Are you able to contact them to see if we can make alternative arrangements????
If we can do this as a "net" gig - let's do it!

Even if i didnt plan to fly over london for personal probs, i was sooooooo enthousiastic and positive for the NC.
We all know how much they worked and all the efforts they did and now :O
