On that photo Derrick is not much smaller than Jay - imagine Jay without hat and they have about the same size.
Look at this pic: Derrick and my hubby. My hubby is 1,74 m, so regarding this pic I'd say Derrick is about 1,71 / 1,72 m.
Why do you need to know his size? Are you planning to send him clothes? 
By the way, if it is urgent, just ask him on facebook or myspace.

Look at this 2 pictures:
On the site: bottom left , where Jay Kay is between the huge women, look there he is not taller than 1,70 cm!

And then on this site: Where the band is on the picture, the penultimate picture in the first array, there you can see that Derrick is smaller than Jay. Then Derrick must be 1,65 cm!

Jay Kay is much higher than Derrick. Maybe Derrick is 1,65 cm?
I thought Jay Kay was 1,70 cm? Isn't Jay Kay 1,70 cm? Look at imdb.com and search after Jay Kay, there stands he is 1,70 cm!

Ok. I don't know why it's so important to know about this, but i'll try help you.
In this photo you can see Jay with Heidi Klum: http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1820000/images/_1820486_jk_pa.jpg
They are in same 'size' - I can't find a better word. And she was using high shoes. She's 1.76 so, probably, in this photo and with these shoes she's with 1.80. So, maybe Jay has the sime size, 1.80.
But, look, these isn't important, really. And I really need to know why you need to know about this? Do you work at imdb and you're checking all informations there? Sorry if I sound rude but...I don't know why this is important thing to discuss.

It's important because he is a ideal of me. And i want to be like him. And I'm 1,72 cm and male. But he isn't 1,80 cm. Many other people say he is 1,70 cm too.
PS: On the photo he stands displaced of Heidi Klum, and he is smaller than her. |

Hi JayKay1222,
I think 1,72 m comes very close to Jay Kay's height. I met him and I would say he is nearly as tall as my hubby (1,75 m) - but... really, his height is the less important thing about him, really. Let's talk about his music, for example.. .
Don't try to be about another person. Be yourself! I am pretty sure you have a great personality even without being like Mr. Kay. Every person is unique - and so you are!
May I invite you to introduce yourself a bit in the Jamily section?

At Jana B and all:
Look at this picture, David Coulthard is only 1,82 cm. And Jay is much smaller than him, so Jay is 1,70 cm. You see that this are minimum 13 cm difference in size between Jay and David.
PS: Which Forum is better? This or the forum at jamiroquai.com? Who know more?
@ FRA: On the picture, is this the real Jay? Then you know how tall he is or? How tall is he?
