apparently Simon Hayle is doing the string arrangements again
he worked on 'Synkronized' & also Ian Browns - 'The World Is Yours'
Jay is still doing vocals and it's doubtful any UK dates will be confirmed for festivals this year before the album release. |
Cool, how do you know all this??? |

Hey guys, how are you? doesnt seem kind of strange that the band goes to play to Indonesia, and some other places in the middle of the recording stage of the new album?? Why are they taking so long to finish it? and still they take the time to tour. Dont you beleive that there is something wrong with the whole process? maybe that they dont have a label to produce the album??, maybe you know more than i do about this situation. Cheers! it seems there is something a bit strange in the whole process. i think Jamiro should give their fans a bit of a solid round up of what's going on as this has been a bit more than a break they originally stopped for. _________________ Mahoney |

Hello again,
I know yours truly has been rather quiet postwise, it's that darn Twitter, I just can't seem to get ANYTHING done online with this addictive new telegraphing service....but I LUV IT ! Anyway, just posted on Funkin Site and maaaaannnn....the wait will continue to go on and on for the new album:
The Star website (Malaysa) has published an article (LINK: http://tinyurl.com/cw7jrx ) in advance of Jamiroquai's concert being held after the Malaysian Grand Prix race this coming Sunday. There are a number of quotes from Jay in the article, such as...
"It's going to be good ... we're going to roll it out. Apart from this show and the one in Indonesia after this, these will be our last shows before we head back to complete our upcoming album."
The article also quotes Jay talking about plans for a world tour, which they report is expected to start in early 2010.
UGH! Oh well, back to tweeting tremendously tediously till then! Cheers to David/Samantha as always!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

So nobody mentioned that in this article there is confirmation of Columbia Records deal? Or am I wrong? (I never read every posts in this thread, so excuse me if it was discussed here before)
