Here's what happened to the guy who wrecked Jay's car...
Jay Kay car attack chef is jailed
The court heard Billington may have been angry at being mocked
A Suffolk chef who admitted causing more than £9,000 of damage to a £1m Ferrari owned by Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay has been jailed for 20 weeks.
Aaron Billington, 21, of Aldeburgh, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court after previously admitting causing criminal damage to the Ferrari Enzo.
The incident happened on 3 March outside a hotel in Aldeburgh.
At an earlier hearing in Lowestoft, Billington said he committed the crime in a "moment of madness".
'Mocked for stutter'
Ipswich Crown Court heard the pastry chef vandalised the Ferrari after seeing the star with a woman he had an "emotional attachment" with.
It heard Billington might also have been angry at being "mocked" for his stutter.
Christopher Morgan, mitigating, said Billington inflicted more than £9,000 of damage to the vehicle after seeing the woman go to the star's hotel room.
Mr Billington had an emotional attachment to one of the young ladies in the company of Charlie and Jay Kay

Aaron Billington's solicitor
The court was told Billington saw Jay Kay and a man called Charlie walking along the beach with two women at about 12.45am on 3 March.
Billington started to become "arrogant" towards the star, who "didn't really want to speak" to him, and the "mocking" began shortly after, Mr Morgan said.
"No one has explained what the mocking was," he said.
"I put it very simply. Firstly, Mr Billington had an emotional attachment to one of the young ladies in the company of Charlie and Jay Kay.
Damaged by stones
"There's one significant factor that explains why the defendant was being mocked - and that's his stutter."
Billington's stutter became more obvious at times when he was "under pressure", Mr Morgan said.
But he did not know exactly what had happened because he was "in drink", he added.
The driver's side window was smashed in the incident
Shortly after, Jay Kay invited the two women to his room, Mr Morgan said.
"It was easy to draw the obvious conclusion what was going on at the time," he said.
Witnesses then saw Billington vandalising the car by throwing stones at it.
The court heard the total amount of damage had been revised from an initial estimate of £30,000 to £9,434.03.
This included £2,500 to replace the windscreen, £700 to replace the driver's side window and £3,500 to polish the paintwork and valet the car.
Kay, whose insurance excess was £10,000, also had to pay £370 to have the vehicle towed away.
Billington was jailed for a total of 20 weeks after admitting failing to answer bail and leaving bed and breakfast accommodation and an Indian restaurant without paying, as well as the criminal damage charge.

That kinda tough for the guy. After all Jay Kay just drives up in his Ferrari Enzo and your mans girlfriend runs off with him. Ultimately she was the beatch in the situation but it was cruel to take the p~~~ out of his stutter. Nobody's perfect. I guess you can't really excuse not paying the indian or the b&b but hey we were all young once? Jay Kay really fancies himself... _________________ Maybe i'm still a lovefool |

Sounds like that guy really had the book thrown at him. 20 weeks??? For chucking some stones at a car...? Geezus! I'd rather be bankrupt than go to jail. _________________
