and... you're saying that's not the truth? they ARE working on their new album. playing a few concerts in indonesia doesn't make it a lie, you can do both. |
First, I asked CLEARLY: is it or is it not finished? That was my question. I wanted an straight answer, no more. Of course they can do more than one thing at the time. We all can, and I have 200 million examples that aply to all of us in this forum....
Second, Ophone's answer was funny. When I have a band and become super famous, I will write my songs and share them with my fans (smelling like irony...) In the meantime, I'm a Jamiroquai fan and I say I'd really like to have new stuff really soon. I get passionate about them, since they're in my life for so many reason. I don't pretend them to do something just because fans (or me) tell them to do. The reason of my anger it's, 'cos, dunno know why, I think there's something else going on...and it's something bad (I hope I'm wrong) _________________ Call me up, turn me on, tune me in... |

Noe, have a look at Paul's little comment a few days ago. This might calm you down a bit, I hope. Also, when you observe the comments of Rob and Derrick on facebook in the last weeks, you will see that they are in a progress of recording and you'll notice their feelings and excitement about it!
Here is the link to Paul's comment, which I mentioned:
http://www.jamirotalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=133520#133520
To sum it up: I have the impression that everything is just fine and they are working on the album. It is not finished yet, though.

Hello again,
Yeah I have been "missing in Quaiing" here postwise for a while now, sorry, still "stumping around for work" & supplicating my time to other favorite bands . Anyway, gosh, has been a long wait for what, thanks for the info Brother D . Hopefully we'll hear, at least to some degree, some snippets of the new material by summer, oh please let it be a little sooner! Will post more when I got the freetime......which I continue to have a ample supply of. Cheers to everyone as always and to all future updates, muses and other posts here !
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Well, I guess he decided to change some things, because they're still working on it! I bet most of the recording is finished, just needs to be arranged and mastered to perfection. |

I remember they said a long time ago they had about 25 new tunes and tthey needed to choose which ones were goinf to be on the new album. I'm pretty sure these tunes were just demos and now they were recording the tunes as these are going to be on the album |

It has been awhile. I can't believe it has been 4 years since Dynamite.
The funk has been draining from me.......
I've turned into a metal head. Well, I always have had a softness in my heart for heavy Metal. I've been listening to Amon Amarth and In Flames. I would like to see Anders and Jay team up for a track. _________________ IT'S A PLANETARY....GOOD VIBE ZONE.....

scruffziller,
